If you fear Western Civilisation is falling apart and that all our institutions have been corrupted beyond measure by fashionable leftist idiocies and plain dumbed-down incompetence, then really, really don’t read the report published today by London’s Metropolitan Police.
It’s called the Henriques Report, after Sir Richard Henriques, the retired judge who wrote it in 2016. Up until now, it has been kept partially secret — via heavy redactions — and you can well see why our corrupt, failing, self-serving Establishment has been so reluctant to publish it, the police especially.
It is, quite likely, the most shaming, damning, embarrassing indictment of police incompetence and stupidity since Sir Robert Peel founded the Metropolitan Police over two centuries ago.

Any clear-thinking, intelligent human understands that political correctness is nothing more than cultural Marxism with a different name....so it's not so "scary' sounding.
When individuals engage in it, it is bad enough. But when whole institutions are taken in by it, it will destroy the country eventually.
Has Sir Richard Henriques been arrested yet? Because by telling the truth, he is obviously an enemy of the state. Or is it an enemy of the crown? I forget which one the UK uses.
Well, it certainly has been institutionalized in the US military judicial system. Company commanders, battalion commanders, brigade commanders, and .. yes .. division commanders and corps commanders are terrified about not referring allegations of sex offenses to court-martial. They realize that, should saner consideration apply during the investigation and referral process and allegations are not recommended for trial by court-martial, they will be dragged over the coals of media reports and congressional inquiries, that they will be pilloried for "perverting the course of justice" by not taking the allegations at face value and referring the charges to courts-martial.
Probably close to 75-80% of courts-martial held at Fort Hood involve allegations of sexual offenses, most of which result in acquittal or the alleged victim bailing out of the process by stating that they do not want to participate in any further prosecution.
The terror of commanders when faced with allegations of sexual offenses within their commands is palpable ...

I stopped watching TV cable news when Trump won the GOP nomination.
The fake news and the 24/7 constant anti-Trump programming forced me to cancel my DirecTV account altogether and go to live-steaming my own programming via my computer modem.
I realized all I was doing was listening to the lies and fake news about Trump and didn't need to pay through the nose for that privilege.
My TV bill went from over $200 a month down to less than $50. A win-win situation.
