California's Gov. Gavin Newsom signs law to put illegals on state boards

Talk about disenfranchisement. In California, seems it's not enough that foreign nationals who've just spilled over the U.S. border from the south can get free education, free health care, free housing, and all that — now it looks as though locals may just find themselves lorded over by foreign nationals with zero loyalty to the United States making policy, now that Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed SB225, a bill to allow illegals to "serve" (and be paid) on state boards that make policy in California. If your interests conflict with theirs, too bad about yours:

According to the San Francisco Chronicle:

SACRAMENTO — Undocumented immigrants [sic] and other non-citizens will be allowed to serve on state boards and commissions after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a package of bills Saturday intended to integrate immigrants further into society.

SB225 by Sen. Maria Elena Durazo, D-Los Angeles, expands eligibility for state appointments to any California resident over the age of 18.

In a signing message, Newsom said applicants deserved to be considered on their merits, rather than their immigration status.

"Building a more representative government requires an assessment of barriers that prevent talented and qualified Californians from consideration for public service," he said. "California doesn't succeed in spite of our diversity — our state succeeds because of it."

AARRRGGGHHHHH!!!! Just one more reason why I moved out of California a month and a half ago. Every day since I moved to St. George, Utah, the news has had an article validating why we moved. . . And every day I’ve said, well they can’t top that. Then some idiot progressive in California says “Hold muh beer and watch this!” And tops it. This is today’s “Hold Muh Beer” article. . .

Knowingly hiring an illegal alien is a felony and so Newsome should be indicted and sent to prison.

Probably are some sitting on those boards already and this law was needed to allow those loyal Democrats to keep their seats. :)

So I'll repost what I wrote about the CA government last nite (to a post about ramming through more gun laws):

Entirely made-up story:
So I'm sweating in the dark, trying to wind down from another day eating room-temperature formerly-frozen food before I throw it all away tomorrow. Some of it's still edible...
My car's out on the side of the main highway miles away, having run out of charge. I guess I'll miss another day's work since I have no car, and besides I have to watch the house -- security system's down, no street lights and reports of roving looters.
Bored. Guess I'll waste some of my remaining phone charge and catch the news. Hell, maybe the Governor or the Legislature are doing something to help the millions of us out here in dire need.
THEY'RE DOING WHAT?

Really bad optics, Gavin. The kind that gets you recalled...

California is a de-facto Mexican colony. The state government represents Mexico and illegal aliens.

This is just one of many reasons why Californians are trying to remove Galvin Newsom from office.

Can’t we kick CA out of the nation? Let them keep their illegals and their problems.

There should be roadblocks and passport control at all roads and ports of entry into/out of California.

Reason 487 why I’m glad I don’t live in CA. Had the opportunity back in the 80s. Damn glad I decided no.

Wait for an issue on which an illegal alien appointee casts the deciding vote. Then have someone affected by the decision sue in Federal court to invalidate the decision.
