Trump’s compassion for all people, including blacks, is one of his great strengths.

I haven't confirmed this, but if this is correct:

I'm thinking the claim that the black vote was up 291% over 2015 would be enough to question these figures.

No, I think it said the “conservative” or “Republican” black vote.

Nope. Warren has a horrible problem with blacks. He numbers are worse than anyone but Dinobernie’s.

You’re gonna see a 12-15% black vote FOR Trump and yet another 5-8% staying home in 2020, meaning Trump is going to probably be very close in VA, which is the only place he didn’t already win where it will make a difference.

And no, Michael will not run.

Trump will clean the DemoKKKrats’ clocks: 320-340 EV, but a potential for about 355.

Precisely. In FL, enough blacks stayed home for Trump to win. The margin of victory was almost exactly the 3% who stayed home.

I’m told by people who follow him on Twit-—serious people-—that he never supplies sources and . . . is usually right.

BTW, this tracks perfectly with @SHEPMJS who has followed every poll of black/Hispanic approval for 3 years.

Trump is at 16-26% range for blacks (exactly where he would be in LA) and 35-40% Hispanic.

So I think these numbers are pretty accurate.

Won’t be that high. Probably ceiling of 15%, but with another 5-8% staying home.

So the MARGIN will be about 20%, but not the actual vote.

interesting numbers. 10% “real” black vote in 2016. I didn’t know 3% stayed home in key states.

Some make assertions based on stats, some on feeling or observation.

While I love data and stats, when it comes to politics I focus on human behavior. Obummer was chosen based on being black AND the assumption he would free the blacks. Older blacks wanted payback for slavery, younger blacks wanted jobs. Neither happened even though Obummer hates whites, cops, and christians. Younger blacks we’re disappointed and indifferent. Along comes social media and Trump, blexit and walkaway. In other words, the truth. Also, supporting Trump is no longer a sin as more and more publicly show their support. It took two years but we got there.

How to tell if this has been successful, analyze the reaction of liberal mantra. Colleges allowing segration of blacks, safe spaces, white supremacy hype, and white man bad. They lost younger blacks and are trying to get them back.

This is why I believe younger blacks have abandoned dems because they are trying so hard to get them back. Not data per say but signs of losing support.

While I still prefer stats, in politics emotion plays such a huge role, stats are not enough. And thank you for your work, I always look forward to the data you supply.

We can hope that our friends who have been used and misled by the communist dimocrats for better than 65 years will finally have woke up and are starting to see that they were used!! And, that they will now start voting for those that actually care about them. Maybe they will start to understand that Dr. Martin Luther King was a REPUBLICAN, AND GIVE CREDIT TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY for the voting rights act and the civil rights acts passed in the 1960s. LBJ NEEDED the republicans to pass these acts that were for the African American members of the USA. The stinking Dimwitcommiecrats lie and get the credit for something that they did not do.

MLK, Jr. was not a Republican. That has been debunked endlessly on here. It was based on a poorly-researched article put out a dozen years ago.

Unfortunately, however, not a single Republican member of the LA legislature, which will be a supermajority for them with the incoming session is Black. The last one to serve was a State Senator, Elbert Guillory, who had to switch to the GOP, and he was promptly succeeded by a Black Dem. Conversely, there’s almost no White Democrats left in the legislature (unless they hail from a Black majority district or a White urban moonbat seat).

Even if Trump gets to 15%+ of the Black vote (not achieved by a GOP Presidential candidate since 1960, when Nixon got between 25-33%), the GOP has got to make inroads with electing Black candidates in marginal seats, and that’s not happening, yet. Sadly, the party doesn’t seem very interested in providing the needed resources to make that a reality: recruiting, supporting w/$$, GOTV, etc.

"Louisiana is already red. No big deal."

It just occurred to me. Aren't the majority of Black voters in red states?

It’s a little different in LA at this moment in time. Drew Brees has been excoriated by the press and the liberals for being a man of God. Louisianans support him and don’t like it one bit. I suspect that had something to do with the larger turnout.

Middle class black vote is different than urban poverty votes. I hope all people see that the tax the hell out of everything, LGBQTP #1 dem priority, replace Americans with foreign voters, .... will wake at least the middle class black vote. My fear is black females will not wake up and vote at a higher rate. They seem to desire to be buried on the Dem plantation. I want us all to live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character!

Too bad it’s tribe over nation most of the time.

That is a very good observation. I believe President Trump did much better with blacks living in small cities and rural area than with blacks living in large inner cites run by Democrats.
