Charging extra money for a car driven by a person who doesn’t even drink at all is definitely discrimination.
I know many people who don’t drink. I would be livid about this kind of item required to drive my cars.
Dingell is pushing it hard. They will use the “if it saves one life” BS to try shove it through. So if makes it to the Senate and the Republicans oppose it they will be hit with “the Republicans are OK with drunk drivers killing children”.
