The reporters aren’t smart enough to have scoped out this info. The reporters are acting as a cutout between a foreign government (Five Eyes) spying on a US citizen and the FBI/DOJ. FBI can’t “legally” spy on US citizens, so they get a foreign government to do the work, then use the MSM as a cutout.
