“Her seat is going democrat.”
____________________________________

I’m not so sure about that.

For sure, Collins will have a tougher time than usual, primarily because of her impassioned support for Brett Kavanaugh. Her Kavanaugh vote made the RATS even more psycho than usual (if that’s possible). But I think she will prevail in Nov. 2020.

Her RAT challenger is Sara Gideon, the speaker of the Maine House.

I did a write in in 2020. I wrote in the name of an ex-cop Republican businessman I know who unsuccessfully ran in the past for both the Maine Senate and the Maine House in two different election cycles. He knows Collins personally and he once told me, “She’s a nice lady, she’s just not that conservative.”

This time, I WILL vote for Collins, for five reasons.

(1) She voted for the Trump tax cuts. A RAT senator would have been a “no” vote.

(2) She voted for Neil Gorsuch. Again, a RAT would have voted no.

(3) She voted for Brett Kavanaugh. We all know how a RAT senator would have voted.

(4) She voted for the overwhelming majority of the president’s other judicial picks. A RAT senator would have voted “no” on all of them and

(5) I want the GOP to keep control of the U.S. Senate for President’s Trump’s sake, and for the sake of the country.

Delecto and Murkowski as scum who are just being NeverTrumpers. Collins is up for reelection in a blue state - despicable but at least understandable considering that all politicians are basically skunks with few exceptions.

Do you not ever got tired of being wrong?

Do you?

It called the Democrat Fascist party bluff on their fake Impeachment PR stunt

By doing what? Passing a non-binding resolution complaining that the House was being mean to Trump?

The Senate Resolution served notice to the Democrat Fascist House caucus that their current clown show kangaroo court was DOA in the US Senate.

Like they needed that. Is there anyone actually stupid enough to think that impeachment ever had a chance of getting the 67 votes needed in the Senate to convict? With or without this non-binding resolution?

Don’t get excited.

This resolution merely OBJECTS to the secret House PROCESS. A resolution stating that, because of this process, GOP Senators would not vote to convict failed to win a majority in the GOP caucus - that means, at least 27 GOP Senators REFUSED to say they would not vote to convict.

It doesn’t mean there are 20 votes for conviction - but it doesn’t mean there aren’t, either.

Maybe repubs should start faking being dems and infiltrate their party like they seem to do to the repubs

I guess neither of them have the mental faculties to grasp that Trump has not committed a crime, and that the demoncRats are trying to remove a president for purely political reasons.

The Left knows how to stick together and work as a team. The GOP not so much...

Since you need 20 Republicans Senators to vote to convict along with all the democrats, I'd say having 50 commit to NOT vote to convict is enough to see the impeachment CONVICTION fail.

So when the House votes on Thursday, they better consider that a vote to impeach is a fool's task.

they make it possible for the repukes to be in charge of the senate. Without them, Schumer would be majority leader.

Collins said she voted for Trump's squishy SCOTUS nominees Gorsuch Kavanaugh because they WON'T overturn Roe v. Wade, and you're proud of her for that?

Interesting.

I'd say that says more about you than it does about Susan Collins.

Susan Collins says Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh won’t end abortion rights in the US

Absolutely...it is not a vote on impeachment, but an attempt to justify and continue her illegal enquiry. If it were a legitimate vote on impeachment, it would open up the enquiry and ensure constitutional action.

>> they make it possible for the repukes to be in charge of the senate. Without them, Schumer would be majority leader. <<

Heard the same argument why we "had to" re-elect Democrat In All But Label Only Mark Kirk.

Kirk got slaughtered that November and replaced with official Democrat Tammy Duckworth, who votes exactly the same way but doesn't claim to be a "Republican"

Mitch McConnell remained as Majority Leader without Kirk around pretending to be a Republican.

Well, my jaw dropped on that info.

He could easily say that since Collins has decided not to support him in....so many things...enumerate them, it is only fair that I find someone who is more in line with my policies.

Then say he is sorry for her change of heart and mind I would like now to support LePage. He is my favorite since he is the ONLY Maniac’s name I know.

I’m still surprise PDJT did that to us and himself. He can still change that in light of her betrayal.
