The U.S. should provide incentives for entrepreneurs to develop new ways to provide power while also helping people who work in industries that could be left behind, such as coal mining, Romney said.
One idea that has merit, he said, is a carbon tax a fee based on each ton of carbon dioxide emissions that some major oil companies have adopted. A portion of the tax revenue could go to workers in rural communities who would suffer financially from the move to cleaner energy sources, Romney said.

Got to love that they can’t wait to work on the “solution” when not many people are convinced there’s a problem. Heck, nobody has even debated about the problem to make sure we have one. After all, if you disagree, you’re a “denier”!

Which means that they would rather have people in coal country collecting government checks until they die - versus being gainfully employed.
Sounds like Romney doesn’t know how or doesn’t care about the difficulty of regaining work after being on government assistance.

Someone should tell Mitt that stopping global warming is a slam dunk. All he has to do is shut off the sun.

Science-fiction fantasy hoax. Human beings cannot control the weather. Anyone who thinks we can under our present technology should be locked away in an insane asylum.

Hmmm... I’m beginning to expect ol’ Pierre to actually turn coat and to join up with the Dems. He’s gotta set the stage first of course, with stuff like this.
He’ll be a Dem officially by August, just in time to show up at a deadlocked convention and accept the nomination.
You heard it here first.
