The current slate of candidates is a freaking clown car. The leaders in the polls right now is Ears Tuberville who comes off as a complete moron when taken off his talking points. Then there is Bradley Byrne who is a flipping weather vane and has no statewide name recognition. And the nut job Roy Moore. Plus the Sec of Stste who has no name recognitiin or money.
I have my doubts that any of the current crop could beat Jones, which is the goal.

Trump’s best response would be total silence on the subject of Sessions’ campaign.
Nope...Sessions is filthy.....He may have started somewhat clean and full of good virtue but his non actions while Attorney General speaks volumes....he is swampish ya; might say.
Even now, I don’t think Jeff Sessions gets just how angry he has made most conservatives. Hopefully, he will soon find out. Stay safe, Mr. Sessions, but this time, keep your eyes open. You are about to reap what you sowed in 2016.
I know he’s doing this to ‘fix’ his legacy, after being dumped from the White House, but nothing can ‘fix’ the memory of that long, slow train wreck of a tenure.
