The United States signed an anti-corruption treaty with Ukraine in 1998, meaning Bill Clinton's signature is on it. Joe Biden voted for it. Let's remember that according to Article VI, Clause 2 "all treaties...which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land."

Many of us have been saying the same thing in this forum. This is the argument that Trump and the GOP need to be making. The president had every right to investigate corrupt business practices in Ukraine perpetrated by American citizen Hunter Biden.

Not only did he have a duty to ask about Hunter Biden, he has the duty to ask about Paul Pelosi who did the same thing. If at some point Hunter Biden and Paul Pelosi are not subpoenaed and forced to testify, then there will be no justice. Also disappointed that no Republican asked Taylor, who admitted suspicions about Hunter, was not question if he had any conversations with Joe Biden and did he ever discuss his “suspicions” with Secretary of State Pompeo.

WHY ISN’T ANYONE POINTING OUT THAT THE CLINTON ADMIN PUSHED THROUGH THE IDEA THAT OTHER COUNTRIES SHOULD BE ASKED ABOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE OF CORRUPTION ORIGINATING IN OUR COUNTRY??

Reading the summary of the treaty. Which section deals with the president investigating corruption in Ukraine?

The word “Biden” was not in the transcript of the telephone conversation between the two presidents. If true, why is the “Biden quid pro quo” a topic of conversation in this matter? .

What did I miss?

It has been reported many times so I don’t know how people missed it... It should be shouted from the rooftops but I guess we like to keep a low profile for some reason. Hannity keeps repeating the same thing over and over and needs to branch out more and cover areas that don’t get the exposure. We’ve all heard what he has to say - he is on top of everything and we do appreciate his hard work but there’s only so many nights that we can listen to the same thing over and over. I don’t - I have to switch channels. Every GOP member of the House OR Senate needs to bring it up every time they have a chance to speak!!!!! That’s all that needs to be said - short ‘n sweet!!

President Trump should construct an investigative wing at the White House.

"Trump Had a Constitutional Duty to Ask Zelensky About Hunter Biden [??? emphasis added]"

I’m seeing Hunter Biden’s name where I think I should be seeing Joe Biden’s name?

Corrections, insights welcome.

“”The word “Biden” was not in the transcript of the telephone conversation between the two presidents””

It’s been awhile since the transcript was out but it is mentioned. I was ready to post the same thing this morning but decided I better check it and sure enough - Biden is there. I would have sworn it wasn’t...Page 4 - top of page. It’s not like reporters and dems have repeated over and over that Trump is asking for an investigation into Biden’s son. That wasn’t true. He said, “there’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son” - no one even bothers to correct it when they misquote the actual words.

So Joe gets on TV and brags about using Quid Quo Pro to get the prosecutor looking at his son’s company and now, according to Shiff for brains, asking about it is a sham.

The word “Biden” is indeed in the transcript. It’s in the paragraph after the president asks for a favor and mentions Crowdstrike.

Pres. Trump was operating in his his official responsibility to ensure taxpayer dollars weren’t going down some corrupt hole. ..(ukraine)..... And that valid oversight just happened to involve a potential political rival and his son.....(Biden and Hunter)

Kerry’s in the loop in Ukraine as well as other politicians and interesting people.... who don’t want to see any investigations there...Pulling the curtain back in Ukraine is going to show a lot of worms in their dirt, and not all home grown!
