Sen. Lindsey Graham wants access to phone transcripts between Vice President Joe Biden and Ukraine's leader in the month before a top prosecutor, who was alleged to have investigated the owner of the natural gas company that employed Biden's son, was fired.

In a letter he plans to send to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday, Graham said he will request any records of conversations Biden had with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in February 2016.

"I want to know if there’s any transcript or readouts of the phone calls between the vice president and the president of the Ukraine in February after the raid on the gas company president’s house," the South Carolina Republican told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday.

President Trump and his allies have accused the elder Biden of pushing Ukraine to fire then-Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin to stop him from investigating Burisma Holdings' owner, Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, in an effort to protect his son Hunter Biden.

Hussein wrongly blamed Nakoula Basseley Nakoula's online video for the Benghazi attack. Gropin' Joe also has an online video.

What’s he going to do with them? He’ll deal with that right after he gets done with Comey, right?

Graham sends ominous tweet to Comey: See you soon

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., posted an ominous reply to ex-FBI-Director James Comey on Twitter Sunday after Comey seemed to sum up the summary of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation by posting a picture of a man who appeared lost in the woods.

The photo posted by Comey was of a man surrounded by tall trees, and the caption was simply: “So many questions.”

Graham, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, replied, “Could not agree more,” an obvious message that he hopes to question the former FBI head.

Wonder how the Senate Chair of the Judiciary Committee is coming along with this investigation.

Vice President Biden spoke today with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to follow up on their February 11 phone call. The leaders also reiterated the importance of making progress on Minsk implementation through close coordination with the Normandy Format countries on sequencing and implementation.

Readout of Vice President Biden’s Call with President Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine
The Vice President spoke today to President Poroshenko of Ukraine. The Vice President welcomed the passage by the Rada this week of anti-corruption legislation sought by the IMF and EU, and commended President Poroshenko and the government of Ukraine for the hard work that went into ensuring passage. The Vice President also commended President Poroshenko’s decision to replace Prosecutor General Shokin, which paves the way for needed reform of the prosecutorial service. The Vice President urged President Poroshenko to continue on this positive trajectory, to include successful implementation of the new legislation and continued visible progress on anti-corruption reforms, noting this will require unity and stability. The Vice President condemned the increasing violence in eastern Ukraine – which has led to a deteriorating humanitarian situation – and the continued failure by combined Russian-separatist forces to allow the OSCE full access to the areas under their de facto control. The Vice President noted that Minsk implementation by all sides remained the best way forward for resolving the conflict.

Readout of Vice President Biden’s Calls with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and President Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine
Today the Vice President spoke separately with Prime Minister Yatsenyuk and President Poroshenko of Ukraine. The Vice President sent his respects to the people of Ukraine and their leaders on this second anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity on the Maidan, adding that he was inspired by the progress the country has made. He stressed to both the Prime Minister and President that there is still a great deal of work to be done to honor the legacy of the brave Ukrainians who have given so much in their pursuit of a better future for their country. He urged Ukraine’s leadership to unite and rebuild popular trust around a strong governing coalition and reform program, and to accelerate Ukraine’s efforts to fight corruption, strengthen justice and the rule of law, and fulfill its IMF requirements. In light of continuing violence in eastern Ukraine, the leaders noted the continued failure by Russia and combined Russian-separatist forces to comply with their ceasefire obligations and allow the OSCE full access to the areas under their de facto control. The Vice President reiterated the importance of Minsk implementation by all sides as the best way forward for resolving the conflict.

“We don’t need no stinkin’ transcripts.”

I’m amazed that politicians’ phone calls are so regularly recorded. If they know they’re being recorded why do they say things that could damage them?

Certainly politicians have available to them means of communicating that are private.

Where’s Anonymous when you need them? Wouldn’t it be funny if all the television stations suddenly broadcasted a loop of Joe Biden’s NSC bragging for about an hour?
