Pete’s statement was correct. Many black kids don’t see anyone near them promoting the virtues of going to school and getting good grades. The idiot from The Root just can’t handle any remark about blacks that is not complementary, especially when the remark is being made by a white male.
Get over it. The kids do need positive role models.

Of the black college students I’ve met who have actually heard of him, quite a few refer to him as “Butt Itch” or “Butt Stitches.” Presumably there’s something about him they don’t like.

The stories that I have read about Mayor Pete's problem with black voters is the standard stuff like this honking off professional agitators, err "community organizers."

But now let me suggest another possible contributing factor: African-Americans, as a group, don't care for homosexuality.

If this is part of the "problem," don't look for the Enemedia to point it out.
