Juan Williams Accuses Trump of Going to Afghanistan for a “Photo Op”

During an appearance on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, anti-Trump liberal Juan Williams, President Trump’s surprise trip to Afghanistan was a “photo-op” meant to distract from impeachment.

"Remember, he hadn’t gone to visit any war zone until last year, he was criticized for it. This is the first visit to Afghanistan, our longest war, 2,000 plus Americans dead."

"He had no preparation. He talked about a ceasefire but his military people said, ‘We know nothing about a ceasefire with the Taliban.’ And, the Taliban said they know nothing about a ceasefire."

"He then talked about negotiations with the Taliban. And again, his own diplomats said we know nothing about any ongoing talks with the Taliban."

"The president canceled talks with the Taliban last September if you recall after they were engaged in a violent incident."

"No preparation"? Anytime any president goes ANYWHERE, there's a helluva lot of preparation. They even sent a backup VC-25 to Florida, which is standard practice when a president makes an unannounced trip, especially to a war zone.

I’ve said it before. Juan Williams is just a less abrasive (and almost likable) version of that Chris Hahn guy. He spews all of the lefty perspectives, even if they are completely hypocritical and divisive.
