AG Bill Barr - "The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken."

The report appears to confirm the worst suspicions of Nunes and others close to the situation. That makes it a killer for the Dems. Horowitz just dug out facts. He isn't the cop. His facts, when combined with those resulting from Durham's investigation, should suffice to start us the long road to justice.

What do you want to accomplish with your negativity and defeatism?

Context is important.

U.S. Attorney John Durham - “I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing ...last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

Not entirely true...lots of illegals committing crimes and getting light or no sentences.
Some blacks and homosexuals also.
Probably, due to the elites desire to socially engineer everything..?

Proving you wrong. Why? Because you got on this thread and called a bunch of fellow freepers who knew how this was going own a bunch of "nothing burger salespeople" and wanted them to apologize. That seems rather arrogant to me.

The report buried facts as well and YOU CANNOT support the report in full and support Durham also. Durham sees there are BIG problems with it - and that taints ALL of it. Those problems go to the HEART of the issue - "was there political bias?" and "was it proper in the first place?" Your beloved report says NO and YES to those questions.

All other questions get lost in the noise of the entire narrative - and you know it. Because THAT is what the MSM will drive home - that the narrative of the president that there was political bias is a lie - as proven by the IG report.

And now you support his findings. Congrats.

So I thank you for clarifying that you support the finding of the IG that there was NO political bias against the president and that the investigation was proper, as was the warrant against Carter Paige. I’m glad you agree with the IG report regarding those issues. I DO NOT.

Show me where those conclusions can be found in the report.

This is from the report:

“We concluded that Priestap's exercise of discretion in opening the investigation was in compliance with Department and FBI policies, and we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced his decision. - That is on page iii.

"We similarly found that, while the formal documentation opening each of the fou r individual investigat ions was approved by Strzok (as required by the DIOG), the Executive Summary Review of Four FISA Applications and Other Aspects of the FBI's Crossfire Hurricane Investigation decisions to do so were reached by a consensus among the Crossfire "Hurricane agents and analysts who identified individuals associated with the Trump campaign who had recently traveled to Russia or had other alleged ties to Russia. Priestap was involved in these decisions. We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the decisions to open the four individual investigat ions." p iii and iv.

"We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the FBI's decision to seek FISA authority on Carter Page.p vi

"While we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence of intentional misconduct on the part of the case agents who assisted OI in preparing the applications, or the agents and supervisors who performed the Woods Procedures, we also did not receive satisfactory explanations for the errors or problems we identified." p viii

"In our review, we did not find any evidence that the FBI used CHSs or UC Es to interact with members of the Trump campaign prior to the opening of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation." - page 312

"We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced Priestap's decision to open Crossfire Hurricane. - P 349

"We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the FBI's decision to seek FISA authority on Carter Page. - p 359

"We found that FBI policy permitted the receipt and use of Steele's election reporting in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, and we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that this decision was the result of political bias or other improper considerations. - p 381

"We concluded that AD Priestap's exercise of discretion in opening the investigation was in compliance with Department and FBI policies, and we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced his decision. - P 410

"We did not find any documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the FBI's decision to conduct these operations. Additionally, we found no evidence that the FBI attempted to place any CHSs within the Trump campaign, recruit members of the Trump campaign as CHSs, or task CHSs to report on the Trump campaign - p 411

Satisfied?
