House Democrats and the White House have struck a deal on a historic trade deal to update the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced Tuesday.
Pelosi announced the deal on a head spinning day in Washington just one hour after she joined Democrats in setting out two articles of impeachment against Trump.
The agreement on the trade pact is important to Pelosi and Democrats, who want to show they can legislate even as they move toward just the third impeachment of a U.S. president in history. Republicans have repeatedly criticized Democrats as being consumed by impeachment.
Passage of the United States Canada Mexico Agreement (USMCA) would also give a major political victory to Trump ahead of his reelection. Trump campaigned on renegotiating NAFTA, which he described as the worst deal in history.

She’s going to attach something sinister to the bill ..Mark my words! This way when President Trump turns it down they will declare victory and say he’s the one at fault! They are evil these people are evil and should never be trusted again ever!
Striking a ‘deal’ is what she should be doing....impeaching a sitting president is not what she should be doing.....it will not save her speaker-ship.
I agree, but what specifically is in the deal that makes them salivate? Can we find a way around them?

Don’t even get this process. There was a deal by 3 countries. You support it or you don’t. How does that take a year? Did they change something?

That's one way to look at it, and probably the correct way.
But, I saw her on TV, and she looked so happy. Her spin was, "We've impeached that rat bastard, and we fixed the USMCA, too. It was flawed when he gave it to us."
On USMCA, the devil is in the details. What did the unions get, why is Trumka OK with it, and is it good or bad on balance?
Why would you enthusiastically support something that a racist tyrant like Trump did, solely, and who you say needs to be expelled from office for subverting the constitution?
Pay no attention to the act of treason we committed this morning.
Does she mean King Trump? Whom she is praying for?
She knows Trump will win in the impeachment fiasco and wants to be on board for the celebration with a “I told you I didn’t want him impeached”
