They dropped ‘bribery’ specifically to avoid the Biden issue.

The DEMs retook the House on less than flimsy evidence, so what should they stop? The country by and large is letting them get away with it because they really don’t care. And the justice system seems hell-bent on not punishing anyone other than a bunch of small players, at best.

Its never been about impeaching President Trump.
This has always been a Democrat stall and smokescreen operation to try and keep Democrat leaders from being brought to trial for their criminal actions.

We keep on hearing how the impeachment hearings are going to backfire on the RATs but where is the evidence? Wishful thinking, I guess.

My God. Based on everything weve heard leading up to today and we get two of the flimsiest articles of impeachment that dont even specify any crimes. What happened to bribery? What happened to the quid pro quo?
One of the Democrats' lawyers must have woke up and informed them that there isn't actually a crime called "quid pro quo."

The phrase “in the national interest” is the one that blows me away, but is getting very little play.
So it is in the national interest to cover up massive fraud engaged in by highly placed Democrats and their family?
And it is only the purview of the Democrats to determine what is in the national interest. Supremely dangerous arrogance on parade.

Just because the House Democrat majority balked at the use of “bribery”, does not mean that the boomerang is not coming right back at them.
Probably not going to close that can of worms, once opened.

Anyone doubting that the dems are imploding just needs to look at what happened to the USMCA agreement. They held up for spite until they suddenly realized they needed something they could claim that they did for the rust belt. They didn’t do this out of kindness, they did it because their own internal polling shows a wipeout.
To: alloysteel
I agree, Biden(s) is(are) toast, but the dems are dense enough to think that they can put this toothpaste back in the tube.

They should be having a party! Why not? I thought this was mission accomplished, a slam dunk for the Democrats.
Judging from the crestfallen look on their faces, its not. Oh well.
