Tulsi Gabbard: 'Spend money in U.S., not Afghanistan'
The Times and Democrat ^ | Dec 13 2019 | Bradley Harris

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard says foreign policy is domestic policy.

For instance, the Democratic presidential candidate says pulling troops out of Afghanistan would free up funds for domestic needs.

“We are continuing to spend $4 billion a month when we have so many needs in our community right here at home that are not being addressed because we’re told time and time again there’s just not enough money,” Gabbard said.

The Hawaii Democrat held a roundtable discussion with several local citizens about various topics of concern on Friday afternoon in downtown Orangeburg.

Gabbard stated that health care, affordable housing and education would be the top priorities to receive the redirected funding from military operations in Afghanistan.

The Deep State doesn’t want that to happen.

Tulsi Gabbard: 'Spend money in U.S., not Afghanistan'

Or - here's a radical idea - let the people who earn that money keep it for themselves and their families instead of having worthless politicians grab it to spend on others.

We are 22 trillion dollars in debt, Tulsi. There's really no money for Afghanistan nor social services. We borrow every dollar.

Now this might be a crazy idea, but how about not spending it so we don't have to beg the Chinese, Saudis and others to lend us hundreds of billions of dollars every year.

Spending money on Afghanistan is just throwing it away. We are not going to change Afghanistan for the better no matter how long we stay there. Bring the troops home, let the Afghans figure things out for themselves. If they mess with our friends in the area (do we even have any?) then drone targets of opportunity.

That said, I don’t think the money saved should be used for vital needs like “housing and education”. Both are nice, but not really the Federal government’s concern, if we are to follow the Founding Father’s (OMG, I said it) intentions. These would be the same Founding Father’s the democrats have rediscovered with their impeachment circus.

The Brits learned their lesson in Afghanistan many decades ago. More recently, the Rooskies.

Of course, what nobody will say, is that about a trillion dollars a year of federal spending is borrowed money.

So to say, that pulling out of Afghanistan results in “x” number of dollars that can be spent on some liberal cause of the day isn’t exactly true. That money still is being borrowed. It’s not like the federal treasury gets “x” amount back sitting in the vault, waiting to be spent by a liberal.

Bring the troops home. Get out of the ME. Cut taxes and spend less on weapons and more on our deteriorating infrastructure.

lend us hundreds of billions of dollars every year.

Make that trillions a year. Right now, the Fed Gov borrows about $8.5 trillion per year, and pays about $7.4 trillion back. Plus (or minus) interest.

The supporters of the military industrial complex on here won't like that one bit.

"For instance, the Democratic presidential candidate says pulling troops out of Afghanistan would free up funds for domestic needs."

Kudos to US troops for the great work that they are doing in Afghanistan!

And while Rep. Gabbard is understandably concerned about domestic government spending, she should have gotten herself elected to a state government to make policy for such spending. This is because one of the very few powers that the states have expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds for domestic spending is to run the US Mail Service.

From the Constitution:

"Article I, Section 8, Clause 7: To establish Post Offices and post Roads;"

In other words, most so-called federal domestic spending programs are based on stolen state powers and revenues, state revenues stolen by means of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that career federal lawmakers cannot justify under Congress’s Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

The remedy for unconstitutionally big federal government on our backs…

Patriots need to elect a new patriot Congress in the 2020 elections that will not only promise to fully support PDJT’s vision for MAGA, now KAG, but will also do this.

New lawmakers also need to promise to support PDJT in surrendering state powers that the post-17th Amendment ratification feds have been stealing from the states back to the states.

After unconstitutional federal taxes are stopped, the states will ultimately find new revenues to establish the social spending programs that the legal majority citizen voters of a given state want.

Justice Brandeis had put it this way about the "laboratories of democracy," the unique powers of the sovereign states to serve the people.

"It is one of the happy incidents of the federal system that a single courageous State may, if its citizens choose [emphasis added], serve as a laboratory; and try novel social and economic experiments without risk to the rest of the country.” —Justice Brandeis, Laboratories of democracy.

(Note that constitutional limits on states as laboratories of democracy is that states cannot establish privileged / protected classes or abridge constitutionally enumerated rights, and must maintain a constitutionally guaranteed republican form of government.)

And to make such changes permanent, patriots need to further support PDJT in working with the states to repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments.

Remember in November!

MAGA! Now KAG! (Keep America Great!)

Amen to that. Let Humper Biden spend his own money on sex toys. And if Tulsi wants to keep plying him with those things, let her spend her own money. Take away all those taxpayer funded credit cards and then maybe I’ll shed a tear over Tulsi’s bleeding heart.

HALEY RE FOREIGN AID & UN VOTES
POTUS 45 WINNING!!!
And THIS, friends, is just another reason the blood suckers in the Deep State Swamp want TRUMP GONE: He’s drying up one of the key elements in the BIGGEST, most CORRUPT TAXPAYER money laundering rip-off in the history of this country...hell, perhaps the world. It’s ONE WAY so many of our “representatives” become rich on those $174K salaries.
All of you are bright enough to figure it out.  But if you forward Nikki’s 1 minute video to the perpetually bewildered, mouth breathing leftists in your orbit (our condolences!), the video at the second link MAY help their comprehension.
