Fox News Poll: Trump job approval ticks up, views on impeachment steady
Fox News ^ | 15 Dec 2019 | Dana Blanton

Weeks of congressional hearings and debate have failed to move the electorate on impeachment, according to the latest Fox News Poll. At the same time, approval of President Trump’s job performance has climbed three points.

Currently, 45 percent of voters approve of the job Trump’s doing, up from 42 percent in late October. Over half, 53 percent, disapprove. That lands the president almost exactly where he started the year, as 43 percent approved and 54 percent disapproved in January.

The poll, conducted Sunday through Wednesday, also finds 50 percent want Trump impeached and removed from office, 4 percent say impeached but not removed, and 41 percent oppose impeaching him altogether.

I’ve noticed for years (even before the FNC leftward turn) that Fox polls are consistently skewed to the left.

So I call an absolute BS on 50% wanting the president removed from office, and disregard this poll as I do all Fox polls.

Can I ask a stupid question?

Is Fox so sensitive about being labeled as a conservative or Trump supporting organization, that they want to show they are fair and balanced?

So in this case, are they trying to show their polls show Trump is unpopular?

Maybe a stupid question, but it seems that some polls are not exactly scientific. Some seem to oversample the liberal side, and some polls, such as “push” polls, are set up to deliver a certain result.

I don’t need to know the results of any polls.

I don’t care or need to know what percentage of other people think or don’t think.

Nothing would make me happier than to see Trump re-elected in 2020 with 50+% of the popular vote. Knowing that this might be the reality if Congress doesn’t impeach and convict Trump, they’ll probably prop up a RINO as a 3rd party candidate to dilute his numbers.

Latest Rasmussen poll 12-13-2019

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.

And right before the 2018 midterms:

“THe latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds that 46% would choose the Republican candidate if the elections for Congress were held today. Forty-five percent (45%) would vote for the Democrat.”

We know how that worked out.

I’ll take Rasmussen polls over Fox. Rasmussen only poll likely voters.

The internals are sketchy at best (1000 registered voters proportional for each State’s population). I could not find how many were R,D or I ? If anyone knows please post. Fox seems to over poll Dems and underpoll I’s and R’s ? It doesn’t really matter as long as the democrat party keeps believing their message is working.

Faux News.

I no longer watch it. If their polls were true, there would be a stampede for impeachment.

The inverse is true.

So Fox posts a fraud poll that plays off the PROVEN fraud poll from October. - pretending we're all stupid - like there's no internet and they didn't get caught red handed.

All I want for Christmas is for all News Corp assets to continue to diminish. They deserve every single bit of hate and lost revenues they coming their way.

Indeed...

Interviews were conducted December 8-11, 2019 among a random national sample of 1,000 registered voters (RV). Landline (221) and cellphone (779) telephone numbers were randomly selected for inclusion in the survey using a probability proportionate to size method, which means phone numbers for each state are proportional to the number of voters in each state
