Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Friday invited President Trump to deliver his State of the Union address on Feb. 4.
"In their great wisdom, our Founders crafted a Constitution based on a system of separation of powers: three co-equal branches acting as checks on each other. To ensure that balance of powers, the Constitution calls for the president to 'from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union,'" Pelosi wrote in a letter to Trump.

Trump is smart enough not to walk into a trap.
There will be screaming, booing and total chaos.
Pelosi is setting the date so she can have all her minions in line both inside and nationwide
Have a tv placed in her prison cell so she can watch it.
I would love for Trump to address the nation from the Capitol Rotunda and “from time-to-time, as required just send the House a written transcript of his remarks. It would be absolutely Magnificent!
The president is allowed to submit a written State of the Union message to Congress. That’s how it was usually done for many years.
yeah but democrats don’t care about how things were usually done- they don’t play by the rules- they change the rules to suit themselves- etc- they have no regard for rules- it’s only when a republican tries to change a rule that hte left scream about rule of law-

Not sure what the significance of the timing is, but I suspect something is up.

Submit in writing AND schedule the Address for somewhere in Pennsylvania. DO NOT do it where Congress sits.

As you all know well, the past dealings within the control of the opposition within the House of Representatives has made this nation, founded on the principle of a republican form of government, a utterly laughable disaster in the eyes of sensible peoples worldwide.
I will address this towards those leaders who have foisted this debacle upon the will of the American people, a people who deserve far better.
To those Leaders who resolved upon this course of action, I address by quoting from another leader who, during his day, had to call upon his resolve, and almighty God, to convey this message to a similar obnoxious House of Government.
You have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice.
You are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government.
You are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.
Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess?
Gold is your God. Which of you have not bartered your conscience for bribes? Is there a person amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Nation?
You sordid prostitutes have you not defiled this sacred place, and turned the people house into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices?
You are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation. You were deputed here by the people to get grievances redressed, are yourselves become the greatest grievance.
The nations citizens therefore call upon me to address this odious conduct and to invite you to set your evil desires aside, to beg for the peoples and Gods forgiveness, and to return to the base of doing the peoples business and not that of your own evil desires.
If not, then you are invited to leave, to hasten this divorce and leave peacefully a people who I intend to keep free to live in happiness without your insistent meddling.
His options here are varied and magnificent! He could send the dems in congress a sledgehammer message.
He could give it in another venue and only invite the pubs and the supreme court.
By the way, how is the state of the Union these days? The economy? Our standing in the world?
He should move to the Senate or hold the SOTU speech at the White House.
