No, McCain was far worse than Jane Fonda. McCain had the unlimited power of the government Leviathan behind him.

My dad served with McCain at NAS Meridian in the ‘60’s. Liked him well enough, but thought he was pampered royalty.

McCain was nothing more than a sanctimonious lowlife. The Keating Five affair confirmed to him that with the right posture and pose he could get away with just about anything. Trump saw right through him.

McCain’s father and grandfather are buried at Arlington, and McCain was a much more prominent national figure than either one of them. I find it hard to believe he would willingly give that up just to be buried on the grounds of a Naval Academy where he graduated near the bottom of his class.

Late Senator John McCain provided disgraced former FBI chief James Comey with five separate reports from Christopher Steele that the FBI didn’t previously possess related to unsubstantiated allegations of collusion between Russia and President Trump’s 2016 campaign, the Justice Department’s recent Inspector General report revealed.

It's no wonder that linda has not called a single witness to testify in the senate judicial committee.

With mcpain in the cross hairs, we will hear loud promises but we will see little action from the senator from SC.

I still think he voted for Obama instead of himself in 2008.

People in SC can’t see the real Lindsey Graham either.

You are so right.

As a vet, I have always been ambivalent about mcpain's betrayal of his fellow prisoners because of his being so injured and tortured.

I have never dumped on him for those events, but once he came back to the States and during his tenure in the Senate, he has been a lowlife, scumbag, corrupt, bottom feeder with absolutely ZERO integrity.

He and his pal teddy, the secretary killer, can rot and burn in hell.

I grew up in Arizona and at one time I respected that fool.

Same. I went to school with his niece and met him at his Senate office. Was a big supporter. No more.

I’m told it makes it easy to train a dog if you only expect him to do things dogs already do.

The plots at the Naval Academy were bought years ago by a life long friend, a man named larson. 4 plots were bought for them and their wives. He wanted to be buried “where it began”.

I came to believe his injuries were caused by being shot down, not torture.

John McCain has to go down as the sorest loser in US politics. He took it to the grave and beyond.

Trump had to be well aware of this vituperative and despicable behavior pretty early on in the game. The enmity between the two was well developed long before Trump seemed to refuse to recognize the “heroism” of the captive John McCain while in the Hanoi Hilton prison.

It would appear, that Donald J. Trump has chosen his enemies well. But in fact, it is mostly the enemies who have chosen themselves, and Team Trump only reacts to them after they have landed the first attack.

To which Team Trump comes back, “Is that the best you got?”, and lands a counter punch that is in many instances pretty telling, if not totally devastating..

And to think that he and Bush were our two top choices in the 2000 GOP primary.
