EXCLUSIVE: New twist in Hunter Biden's Arkansas child support suit as judge recuses himself amid legal bid to put claims about VP's son's Ukraine business deals at center of case

The judge in Hunter Biden's Arkansas paternity case has recused himself today, hours after an attempt to make the businessman's Ukraine dealings the center of the case, according to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com.

Judge Don McSpadden, of Independence County, didn't give an explanation when he announced he was recusing himself at 10.20am.

He had been presiding over the case since Hunter's stripper baby mama Lunden Roberts, 28, filed suit in May for child support for their 16-month-old child. She has been demanding that Hunter hand over his financial records from the past five years.

McSpadden's recusal came two hours after 'defrauded investor' Joel Caplan, who wants to be made a party in the case, filed a witness statement from ex-Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.

The Judge has a son who was an executive at Burisma?

This should last until November, or when Biden loses the nomination, whichever comes first. :)

“The Judge has a son who was an executive at Burisma?”

Apparently, there was/is some possibility of bias on the part of the judge.

Yep, he suddenly developed a “conflict” of interest called self preservation. No democrat judge in Arkansas will now touch this. Stripper mama netter hope Trump gets reelected or her child support limo is never going to show up.

Obviously the Judge thought it better to recuse himself rather than deal the final death blow to Joe Biden and son thereby facilitating the Judges Suicide 2 weeks later.

“Judge McSpadden does not want to be arkancided.”

My very first thought as well.

Do we get a good judge to replace, or did the dems orchestrate this so they can put in a marionette judge?

Don’t tell me he’s pregnant with Hunter’s child.

So a spate of wacky attempts to intervene have had the effect of shutting down the case while the impeachment trains runs. Qui bono?

I’m suspicious that the overblown, far-fetched accusations are designed to make it look like Trumpers are trying to stir up dirt as a distraction, whereas they actually trivialize what Biden really did. After the $158 million counterfeiting charge and $450 million Chinese stock scam claims implode, Hunter grifting a few million from Burisma will seem minor.

I’m betting that we’ll see some serious judge-shopping and a bad result for truth and justice in this case...

Exactly. Judge doesn’t want to end up like Vince.

Did the Judge wake up this morning with a horse’s head in his bed?

Why did the judge refuse himself? Does he have to state the reason for his recusal? Interesting that documents that have been sworn as testimony into a totally different court case many months ago have just been entered into this case. It’s all about Biden pressuring Ukraine into not investigating Burisma or his son. This is getting interesting.

Of course. It’s in the UK publication, The Daily Mail, so it may never get any publicity here in the USA at all.

Why did the judge refuse himself?

Good question. IIRC, sometimes a judge does it on his own; sometimes he is asked to through a court filing by one of the parties in the case. No mention of either in the article.

I can’t imagine why someone Biden defrauded would be a proper party to intervene in a paternity case. Maybe to preserve assets for the investor?

Or maybe someone wanted to force a recusal. The judge might have had similar investments go bad?? Was the judge acting like he was going to force Biden to disclose assets? If so, getting a softer judge involved would be to their advantage.
