Much as I dislike Krugman there is software that can do such things. The CIA can put stuff on your computer that looks like it came from wherever they want it to look like. They can do it to any of us. You face can be undetectedly put into a video of a crime being committed. Digital photos are worthless now. That guy on the bank robbery recording could be turned into you.
Wouldn’t put it past Krugman to be a child predator.
He’s been a part of that inner-circle of folks who have been accused for years.
This is a better defense than the “I was doing research on child porn” defense that pervert reporters typically use.
Basically, someone could have spoofed his IP address (the one assigned by his provider), not likely, and used it or they could have infected his pc with some sort of virus that sets up a server to download and host these files (more likely). Problem is, the Paul Krugman is a pathological liar and has been wrong all of the time so I don’t believe him. He is probably trying to get ahead of the story before it leaks out.
