“The United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC, also called the FISA Court) is a U.S. federal court established and authorized under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (FISA) to oversee requests for surveillance warrants against foreign spies inside the United States by federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Such requests are made most often by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).“

It’s a spooks’ playground. I believe they can “monitor” people numerous degrees from the target.

Barr is definitely taking a hands off approach when it comes to the Spygate players.

Not sure why, but time will tell.

On the FISA Court issue, its becoming obvious that there is blatant corruption tainting the court and its judges and that the court cannot police itself. Furthermore, its looking more and more like the court is complicit in the frauds by the FBI and that at least some of the judges are complicit

FISA is up for re authorization by Congress in the spring so letting these guys dig their own graves drives support for major reforms in re authorization

It also justifies President Trump’s veto of FISA re authorization if he so chooses

The deep state needs to get their act together and stop the ‘cover their asses’ types of choices their making... Might help them in the short run - but long run they’ll be put out of business and disbanded.

Former DOJ official David Kris was picked Friday to oversee the FBI’s reforms of its surveillance procedures in the wake of a damning inspector general’s report. Kris was an ardent defender of the FBI’s surveillance of Carter Page. He was also a vocal critic of Republicans who suggested the FBI misled the surveillance court in its applications to wiretap Page.

In one essay, Kris endorsed a suggestion that Rep. Devin Nunes should face obstruction of justice charges.

Nunes told the Daily Caller News Foundation the choice of Kris is “shocking and inexplicable.”
