That doesn't follow at all. In fact if there are only "billions" of "stars out there" then the probabilities are against it.
Ah Drakes law vs Fermis Paradox.
2 interesting possibilities
I swear I saw these two walking around downtown Denver Saturday afternoon.
The colored hair was everywhere.
Actually, the entire universe is only about 13-15 billion years old according to most scientific literature. We now know the incredible complexity of folding proteins such that the probability of a functional protein being created by random processes is 10 to the 164 power. That is essentially impossible and certainly couldn't occur in a mere 13 billion years.
I agree with her but I have a hard time understanding how they can get here. It takes millions of years for the light from close stars to get here; the closest being 4.2 light years.
Well I’m in no position to argue that.
mostly because I don’t understand it :)
So I’ll believe you :)
Aliens exist, theres no two ways about it.
So how do you know this???
Well, because...
But God created the universe. So he may have created many possible sentient life forms in more places than we can imagine.
My belief also.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
And why did he leave this information out of the Bible?
Certainly God could have put life on other planets, “with God all things are possible”, but we have no evidence he did.
None.
The right conditions for life to exist and grow are hard to come by.
It would be up to God.
She should ease on drinking...
There are so many billions of stars out there in the universe that there must be all sorts of different forms of life, she added.
Well, spacey the actual odds of it are exceptionally low. Try reading a bit.
Aaahhhh yes.
A morning crevo thread.
Nothing better to get my internal plumbing functioning properly.
Thanks
‘crevo thread’?
Was is das?
FReeperism for
creation-vs-evolution
Guaranteed to get the juices flowing.
Better than coffee.
I pretty sure that life is fairly common in the universe. However intelligent life like we have here on Earth is very rare. In fact it would not surprise me to learn that we are unique.
