Dismissal is the only Constitutional response. These ignorant, traitorous wretches in the GOP need to be removed at the next possible election.

I’d bet big on that small group of Republican Senators including Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney.

The Turtle has already declared he has the 51 votes needed to dispense with the necessity of witnesses, at least from the start of the trial. I don’t think he will be too happy if Collins, Romney, or other fellow-traveler Republicans undercut him on this now.

Do not get sucked into this BS folks. There were no witnesses in the Clinton trial and there won’t be any in the Trump trial.

No real objections to witnesses, as long as at least two of them have the last name of Biden.

Ok, so Bolton testifies, what the hell can say that has not already been said? The president did nothing wrong. If the Dems get their way and their four witnesses testify, then Trump gets his way and the Bidens, whistleblower, Schiffty, Horowitz, Chalupa, Atkinson, dem staff members, etc. are subpoenaed to testify. Please Schmucky, no witnesses.
To: deplorableindc
The Clinton framework they have decided on already allows for witnesses, if deemed appropriate - they just want to be able to say they are morally superior by blabbing it now.

The factors that don't seem to get much attention are the unwillingness of McConnell to have a full scale trial, taking weeks and weeks of time. But if you allow the Democrats to call their preferred witnesses, fairness almost demands the President to call whoever he wants, and that could get out of hand quick. At the beginning, Trump was suggesting that he would call all sorts of people; Hunter and Joe Biden; Eric Ciaremella; Adam Schiff, and who knows who else. Then as McConnell grabbed control of the story, it seemed that Trump dropped the witness list. I think there had to be some agreement there.
Then, there's the money. The RNC, led by Trump has amassed a nice war chest. Bucking him could be trouble for the GOP Senators, like Collins, who will need help in their re-elections.

McConnell has said he will follow the format of the Clinton impeachment. If he does that I have no problems if it leads to additional witnesses.
My understanding is any questions submitted to any witnesses will be in writing and thus removes the grandstanding the Democrats are so desperate to have.

Where's that meme?
If you want to destroy your political party, this is how you destroy your political party.
The Democommies would NEVER IN A MILLION FRICKING YEARS in this situation allow a witness to be called.
If the Republicans allow it, then it might be time to consider working against the Republicans to destroy them (if this self-inflicted wound puts President Trump in jeopardy).

This is why I am a Trump supporter and can never support the GOP establishment cucks. I won't support a Democrat ever but the Republicans have always been spineless jellyfish.
The GOP betrayed Nixon after he gave the party the greatest electoral win in the 20th century. So I don't trust the GOP establishment. I don't trust any establishment party also.
