Reconstructing the sentence thought pattern.
“Crappy rhetoric from Trump, but honestly it is typical Boomer post WWII can’t fight city hall but you can whine about it. Big Momma Liberal gonna take yer guns away Bad Boys. Sure”

“Crappy rhetoric from Trump” Rhetoric implies it’s self serving and not a true warning before an action or an honest confirmation after something has happened. When using Trump with the preceding part of the sentence implies disdain or disrespect for Pres Trump. You’re perfectly free, by the way, to have disdain for him as it’s your choice.
“but honestly” When a word like ‘but’ is used it would normally indicate to the listener or reader to disregard what was said previously even though it was put out there (which would set it as real rhetoric, by the way) this is what I really DO mean for you to hear/read.
“it is typical Boomer post WWII “ Implies you’re addressing only older readers/listeners. So it follows you believe the younger folks have no concerns on how to stop/avoid an action.
“can’t fight city hall but you can whine about it.” Tells the older folks they past any valuable usage to the situation and all they can do is cry like babies. This would seemingly tell them not to bother doing anything including voting, which perhaps is actually the most important thing they can do as citizens.
“Big Momma Liberal gonna take yer guns away Bad Boys.” Really gets to the point of your thought process. You seemingly give woman/women the absolute power and by addressing the citizens as Bad Boys you indicate only Bad (read that as evil) Citizens would care about their right to the 2nd Amendment and only men would be those Bad Citizens because Woman/Women are the adults in charge. Never a thought to the innocent female of the citizenry who would get shot, robbed, raped or killed for lack of the 2nd amendment.
“Sure.” Now this is really interesting. After all those insults and assumptions you laugh at the folks who have seen government come in and take rights away over the years from both the male and female citizenry of America.
And that, junta is the point of difference then between our views.
I realize I’m not the only one in the battle for daily existence of my country. I’m not going to laugh at folks who are concerned. I’m not so stupid that I will not admit to not knowing all the ins and outs of people and for sure I don’t want to mock them.
Decades ago, I probably, no, as a Feminist at that time, I would definitely have mocked them. While not at the point where I should be as a Christian I am so grateful to not be where I was, as I would most likely have cheered your ping.
Trump will be forced to act if things go south—and they could—fast. What if Some Virginia Counties move to join West Virginia? What if Liberals in Richmond move to stop them. Virginia could be the new “Bleeding Kansas? “ The issue will be not slavery but Democracy vs. Communist Socialism.

I had already moved on in life when your private e-mail arrived. LOL As your request was the first of it’s type that I have received I wanted to make sure you would see my honoring your request.

That's true, you just don't understand which rights those are. Please re-read, or maybe in your case read, the U.S. Constitution. All enumerated rights are guaranteed by the Federal government. That includes 2A.
Non-enumerated rights are the purview of the States. Thus:
Article [X] (Amendment 10 - Reserved Powers) The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
LOL! I repeat, what do you want him to do to stop the state legislature. Be specific.
Invite the Sheriffs, Chiefs of Police and local elected officials of every County or city in Virginia that has declared itself to be a Second Amendment Sanctuary to the White House to participate in a press conference. At that conference, state the following:
1) The Federal government is the guarantor of lawful gun ownership per the Second Amendment to the Constitution.
2) Confiscation of any firearm legal for ownership under Federal law by any State agent will not be tolerated.
3) Any firearm that is confiscated will be retrieved by armed Federal agents and returned immediately to its rightful owner.
4) Any state agent or official that impedes retrieval of confiscated weapons in ANY way will be met with appropriate force and arrested.
5) The cost of retrieval will be billed directly to any state officials that participated in the confiscation.
I like the sound of that.

That’s an easy answer. And they won’t be happy with it...
