My daughter worked full time for two years after high school before going to college, worked part time through college, and elected to go to a state university instead of any of the private universities where she was also admitted, all so she would graduate without any student debt. She also selected a major that would actually qualify her for jobs.
I guess I should have told her to go to the most expensive school she could get into, party down for several years, and not worry about the cost.
Will somebody please tell this arrogant little tyrant that it’s not her money! She has no right to a single penny of it. Why doesn’t she empty out her bank accounts and assets first. When she does that, and all of her like-minded colleagues In Congress disburse all their wealth, until they are pennyless , then they can talk about taking (stealing) someone else’s money and using it to buy votes. The federal government should not be involved in the education system. It’s a states responsibility. As such, states should be the ones deciding whether to fund higher education, along with k-12. Then, let’s see which states will be willing to pay for the higher education of ‘kids’.
