14 Chinese cities with a combined population of around 33 million people are now off limits as the coronavirus infects over 800 people around the world. In the U.S., 10 possible cases in California, one in Texas and one in Tennessee are in isolation awaiting CDC test results. Ramy Inocencio explains how people in Wuhan, the center of the outbreak, are dealing with isolation.

Those cases in TX, TN, & CA likely shared airline cabins with many passengers.
Not to sound alarmist, but these are not quarantined on location.
Have we found out what the incubation period is for this virus yet?
Shut down roads into and out of kalifourniah. And airports. And amtrak.

Ah the joys of open borders.
Look at the folks in China who frequently wear hospital masks to offset the chance of airborne pollutants. Looks many times like a doctors convention, but there it is. May consider getting one and when in public places amongst people in large groups put it on. Also beware or handling too much stuff as in shops etc
Err on the side of caution, if this can be spread airborne then an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...

ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. (KRON) — Fewer than 10 people are being tested for the deadly coronavirus in Alameda County, according to health officials.
The Alameda County Health Department told FOX40 sister station KRON4 there are no confirmed cases at this time.
Health officials are not releasing an exact number of how many patients are being tested but said the number is less than 10.
Officials say the patients have either traveled to Wuhan, China within the past 14 days or have been in contact with someone who has been exposed to the virus.
The patients have also had a high fever and a cough, officials said.

First LAX passenger in quarantine came from Mexico City, about 30 million people live there.
Incubation period 2 weeks, fully transmittable during incubation. Airborne transmittable human to human, at least in aerosol form. Unknown life on surfaces. Unknown sterilization materials for field use, possibly bleach solution.
If this is in Central America, Africa, or India, it will be off to the races with growth.

I just wonder if this has been going on longer that what we’ve been told and....for those of us who live in the USA and take lots of Vitamin C, elderberry, etc., how bad can it possibly be? Or should I ask how much worse can it be from the flu?

But also transmitted through contact- when airborn particles land on a surface, someone touches that surface, then touches their face- it gets transmitted- and people touch their faces many many times, subconsciously, throughout a day
Folks might want to order Sambucol- a natural liquid with elderberry that is supposed to be as good as, or better than, Tamiflu (BUT do go to docs even if taking Sambucol and get Tamiflu if they prescribe it- taking both won’t hurt you-)
You can’t entirely prevent catching the flu- even if you wear masks and spray everything down- it’s gonna spread- you can only slow down how long it takes to catch-
