Well, if you think about it, kids are easy to mold. Hitler created all kinds of ways to co-opt them and they were true believers. The Khmer Rouge had 6 year old enforcers running the killing fields. The Soviets made heroes of kids who reported their parents. Now here, schools foster the idea that kids can report parents for a range of offenses, doctors ask if mommy and daddy have guns, they tell them they can have condoms and abortions and keep it secret.
Kids are easily lead astray. That is why Jesus said anyone who leads a child astray deserves a millstone around the neck and thrown into the sea.

I agree. In my neck of the woods, drag queen bingo is a thing. No one under 18 allowed. It is kind of a hoot and raises a lot of money for charity, especially if you can convince enough volunteer firemen to take part.

I read that Oregon was thinking about letting nurses go to people’s homes after they give birth to children so that they can help parents with learning parenting skills but I think they are just looking for a way to snoop around the house, ask a few nosey questions, find out how conservative mom and dad are. Are there any guns in the house? What sort of literature is found in the house etc.
Fathers are disengaged from their children’s day to day life. They let mom run the show, and mom, is generally complicit.
