Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas panned a draft ethics rule that would dissuade judges from formally enrolling in ideological groups like the Federalist Society and its liberal counterpart, the American Constitution Society (ACS).
Speaking Friday night at a Federalist Society conference in Florida, Thomas suggested the proposal is an attempt to silence the conservative lawyers group. The proposed rule would also bind law clerks and staff attorneys.
“Now I think they’re about to silence the Federalist Society,” the justice said, according to remarks first reported by The Wall Street Journal. “So I guess I can’t come back.”

The ABA is a leftwing ideological group.

At some point, the Left will have pissed off so many people, those folks will organize and just push them out of government, and the nation if they don’t stop.
The Federalist Society is the only counterweight to the extreme liberal slant of law school faculties. Of course they want to kill it. And of course they are willing to sacrifice the ACS, as it has no comparable status, prestige or influence. They want only the law school faculties polluting the courts, and no contrasting opinions will be allowed.
Ban the ABA.
They've lately become experts on the Emoluments Clause.

A friend of mine was the president if the Pennsylvania Bar Association and he resigned his membership when the ABA took the pro abortion position.
He resigned as they should take no position either way, but stay impartial.
Sure they do, it means whatever they say it means.

Then they need to ban the ABA (American Bar Association because of its partisanship and unseemly ties to the underworld..

In 2016, Trump made an issue about a Hispanic judge belonging to a pro-illegal alien Hispanic advocacy group. It certainly did appear that the judge was not impartial.
