The Utah Republican Party is reportedly considering multiple resolutions following Sen. Mitt Romney’s vote to convict President Donald Trump in the impeachment trial, including a resolution calling for his resignation.
According to local Salt Lake City news outlet 2KUTV, “the Utah Republican Party has pending resolutions on Romney: one that expresses support for Trump’s acquittal, another that supports legislation to recall a U.S Senator and a third that calls for Romney to 'immediately resign' from office.”

Resign, recall or approval of his vote for impeachment. What petition will win out in the State of Utah? I had to hold my nose to vote for Romney Ryan back in 2012.
I think they should call upon him to resign. Not, of course, that Romney would resign, but he should be made an example of.
Supposedly, Senators and members of Congress can’t be recalled, but that is yet another silly interpretation of the “heads we win tails you lose” BS wankery that infests every level of representative government.
Romney won’t resign and the Utah GOP won’t ask him to.
