From our Declaration...

...He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance...

We fought a war to end this ****.

And here we are again.

I thought they withdrew the 7-9 year recommendation. Did they change it to 3 1/2 or did the judge just pull that number out of her butt?

Trump should wait until after the election to pardon him.
....
Yep, probably the best move. Trump doesn’t need to give the media and the rats taking points. .....besides, the appeal will last until November. ..

She already denied a new trial. Everything with her is appealable and will be. Lots of Judicial Error here.

That jury was tainted. The verdict should be tossed.

Yes and that case needs to be made through the appeals process. Trump should not short-circuit it with a quick pardon.

Stone should get a medal for lying to Congress. If Adam Schiff can sit there in a House committee hearing and lie his ass off on national TV, then lying to Congress shouldn’t be a crime for ANYONE.

However, Stone deserves to rot in prison just for showing up for testify in the first place. He never got a subpoena to appear. He went on his own.

The reason not to pardon him is that the trial was tainted. Judge, attorney, juror misconduct.

The verdict will be tossed.

In the mean time Stone is racking up hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills on the appeals. End it now. Pardon him.

Has the gag order been lifted or are his 1st amendment rights still being restricted while incarcerated?

Yep. There is no rule of law left. Trump is weak on crime and a pussy when protecting us. We are on our own.

"The foreman had some bias."

She apparently lied when asked if she had any political bias, so she would pass inspection to be a juror. That's okay?

Roger Stone intimidated witness and lied to congress. He was sentenced by a partial judge and convicted by a partial Jury. This is not American Justice. His sentence, of 3.5 years, his arrest, reflect a zeolous effort by the DOJ to prosecute Trump ‘semi-affiliated’ campaign people based upon the Mueller investigation which was based upon illegal spying and fabricated information.

The list of former Obama administration individuals who did the same as Roger Stone is so long I can’t even count. All of them got Government Retirements (Louis Lerner) and/or cushy contracts or Jobs at the ‘Networks’. The DOJ refused to prosecute even the most serious acts of lies, leaks, and political interference.

It’s not that I think Roger Stone crimes may not deserve to be punished. It’s that I believe he didn’t receive a fair trial. I also believe that Justice should be blind, and Democrats should suffer the same as Roger Stone did for their crimes.

I honestly don’t care if Trump pardons or doesn’t for those that broke the law. I would like to see Americans get fair trials, due process, and fair sentencing...Justice....and not “we aren’t going to prosecute you because your Democrat anymore”.

I agree with that. I hate to be the one to say this, but a lot of these Trump associates who have been prosecuted come across to me as if they’re mildly retarded.

Nobody will die on this hill.

What can they do? Impeach again?

So, the judge had already decided to deviate from the prosecutors’ position? Those POS’s resigned for what? Will the press report that the judge agrees with Barr that the recommendation was too harsh? Oh, silly me . . .

The judge followed Barr’s recommendations.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That’s a very sobering (and true) thought.
I wonder if Barr would have kept his mouth shut and if Trump had not pressured Barr through tweets - if Stone would have gotten the full 7-9 years.
Probably.
The pardon will come, but not immediately. That’s my guess.
After the prosecutors quit, and the kerfuffle with Barr and Trump, the new one went right back to their 7-9 recommendation
The Swamp wins again
Don’t think so, Stone is still not able to really defend himself.
They didn’t’ actually give a number in the revised memo, just significantly less than 7-9.
