Less than a quarter of adolescent men who have sex with men, or AMSM, have ever been tested for HIV despite being at higher risk for infection, study findings suggested.
According to Brian Mustanski, PhD, director of the Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing at Northwestern University, and colleagues, an estimated 51.4% of adolescents aged 13 to 24 years with HIV are undiagnosed, compared with 14.5% of total HIV infections in the United States.

Did pedophilia somehow get legalized while I wasn’t paying attention? Why isn’t THIS atrocity addressed, not the fact that they have been infected with AIDS?
They are including 18-24 years old guys as “adolescents”?

Yeah. I remember being taught the whole deal about saving sex for the spouse. I also remember deciding to go with it and not having any STDs over now almost 20 years of adulthood. Funny how that works.
But seriously, getting started when teens doesn’t sound good, for anybody.
Nationally, over 15% of “men who have sex with men” are HIV+. Or, at least, diagnosed HIV+. Personally, I think the real figure is much higher, particularly among promiscuous urban ones.

And each HIV+ needs hugely expensive antiviral drugs, for the rest of his life, to keep the virus down to survivable levels. Just the drugs cost $39K per year.

This was the reason for Obamacare, so that this particular condition would get coverage.
I don’t see where it says the underaged males are not only playing with themselves amongst themselves, but also with adult pedophile predators. That’s not something I would just go ahead and assume. Sure, it would feel empowering to have people believe all of my second-guessing, but all it takes is one iota of common sense when I read it honestly to know what is a reasonable assumption to make and what is not.

The explanation is that some gays have many hookups, many per night, in some cases. So HIV may go from a 30yr old to a 24 year old to a 20 year old to an 18 year old to a 15 year old to a 13 year old with out any pedophilia.
The data on the number of sexual encounters is contradictory even to the point of disagreement on what constitutes and encounter. I did find this reference:

Seriously? Or are you just speculating?
Are you serious Obamacare was created to cover HIV?
There is a reason why the sodomites are usually the loudest proponents of lowering the age of consent.
The big question is “where the hell are the parents?” of these minor children. Logically we have to presume that the majority of these victims are not being assaulted by strangers but by adult men whom their families must know. Men they trust. Men they see on a regular basis. Men who are in a position to have steady contact that does not raise suspicion. Men who have been grooming their children for years. And though I wrote families in fairness I bet most of the victims come from homes run by a single mother.
I’m relatively unaware of a lot of what they do and I prefer to keep it that way. Unless I’m a witness to what would be criminal sexual conduct, I don’t have a need for broad and specific knowledge of their culture.
What are the actual numbers. Percentages are easy ways to hide truth.
Speculation, but bear with me:
Which important Democrat constituency has, as its major existential concern, being able to get medical treatment for a condition which is lifelong, chronic, usually classified as pre existing, and expensive-to-treat condition? A condition which afflicts a major percentage of that community, and to which all are vulnerable?
How do they know the % is a 51.4 infection rate, when they admit they are “undiagnosed” as having HIV??? Is it just a guess???

There is no such thing. These are boys. Children.
But use of the term above, the author outs self as in compliance with or an active participant in the sexual molestation of children.
It's not worded well. It doesn't mean that 51.4% of adolescents have HIV. It means that of the relatively small percentage of sexually active adolescents in the nation who have male-to-male sex, a smaller portion have contracted HIV, and about half of those are undiagnosed. What the article is not saying is how small the percentage of M-to-M adolescents actually is, divided by the number infected, and divided by half.
Poor research. Scare headlines.
Also, while age 24 is still technically adolescent in terms of brain development, emancipation from parents begins roughly at age 18. My guess is that most of the infections are of adolescents who are in the upper portion of the age group 13 to 24.
