While it's not a done deal (and I don't expect it will be) the public spotlight and pressure must be working. They're at least going through the motions of pretending to review this case.

Yes, she needs to NOT be the presiding judge if a re-trial occurs.

Barr could stop this farce tomorrow before breakfast if he wanted to.

I'm sure his attorney's used this type of language.

Stone's lawyers say that entitles the 67-year-old right-wing provocateur
to a fresh trial.

So sick of the bias.

Yeah like an Obama appointed judge gives a flying crap what Trumpers think. Time to reign in these assholes, and fine them heavily for violating basic civil rights. They are appointed for life, but theres nothing that saying their saleries can be docked. Hit them were their political beliefs can help them, affording to live. Of course, if it gets too bad, they can always resign.

The purpose of this article is to advance the notion that the misconduct of the juror must be ignored because the President made a comment on this behavior. Did the judge issue a gag order to the President of the United States as she did to Roger Stone? I doubt that she has the authority to do that, but apparently the press and the Democrat Party believe that they can do so.

Jackson held a hearing on Stone’s motion for a new trial on Tuesday, in which she limited public access to protect the privacy of the jurors.

The entire jury, that is no longer a jury, were tainted and she is trying to keep them hidden so the truth can't come out. Criminal setup.

Judge Beryl Howell either knows she is lying or she needs to pull her head out. Amy Jackson is a died in the wool partisan every bit as much as Bernie is an admitted and proud commie.

The American People, at least those that voted for Trump, have very little faith in Federal Judges or the DOJ or the FBI. Period and no one is moving to do a damn thing about it.

The thing you have to consider, if a re-trial is granted....whole different prosecutor team, defense team with major aim of knowing every single juror in the group, but with with the same judge.

All you need is one strong jury member who is GOP and refuses to bend....making this a mistrial. Barr could step in at this point and say it’s not worth the money to pursue this.

Freakin’ b*tch issues a gag order last year on everyone involved in the case, and then uses the courtroom to air her own hateful, biased speech. She’s a hypocrite.

"is facing a concerted campaign from Trump and his media allies who claim that Stone’s case was prejudiced by politics."

"Claim?" The lady's own social media posts prove beyond reasonable doubt that she had bias.

They're at least going through the motions of pretending to review this case.

They don't have a choice. The defense made the motion and the judge held the hearing. She's not going to grant a new trial and while the defense may use the juror as grounds for their appeal it'll be a couple of years before that process works its way through.

Trump should pardon him.

She can do as she pleases and then be wiped out on appeal

Meanwhile, stone is not in jail

She’s making up her mind does she want to give in and grant a new trial, or get gobsmacked on appeal and take a major hit to her career to appease the Deep Staters?

I think it could go either way frankly.

The moment Amy Berman Jackson remanded Paul Manafort to solitary confinement while he was merely being tried for a long past process crime earned her a prominent spot in Fidel Castro’s totalitarian hall of fame. This woman is not a servant of justice nor is she a student of the law. She is an ideologue of the nth degree. The Deep State assigned her a mission to make Trump look as bad as possible and her props were Manafort and Stone. She wasn’t about to let a small thing like blind justice get in her way.

Following the FBI’s predawn raid on Roger Stone and his deaf wife while using a score of armed to the teeth agents, Director of the FBI, Chris Wray, should have been summoned to the Oval Office and made to explain (in front of Fox News cameras, ala CNN’s presence at the Stone raid) why he allowed his agents to be used in such a blatant over-kill manner, thus grossly wasting valuable taxpayer resources for no rational reason whatsoever.

After his feeble attempt to explain that his department always follows the book, President Trump should have terminated Wray on national tv. He should have instructed him not to return to his office since all his personal belongings were being delivered to the front door of his home, and no strong letter would be forthcoming.

Then he should have named Trey Gowdy to replace Wray. The water level in the swamp would be much lower by now.
