Tuesdays special election to fill the vacant 58th District state House seat is expected to be held as scheduled, despite widespread cancellations and shutdowns because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The health scare has resulted in two polling locations, one in Rostraver and another in South Huntingdon, to be moved at the last minute while replacements are being sought for dozens of poll workers who withdrew from service over the last few days, said Beth Lechman, director of Westmoreland Countys Elections Bureau.
Polls will open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the 66 precincts that make up the 58th District, which includes: Adamsburg, Arona and East Huntingdon as well as parts of Hempfield, Jeannette, Madison, Monessen, Mt. Pleasant, North Belle Vernon, Penn Borough, Rostraver, Sewickley, Smithton, South Huntingdon, Sutersville and West Newton.

Let be honest..
with the virus impacting the older and not as much the younger...
its going to suppress the older votes that will be more fearful to go out....
and that older vote tend to be more Republican/right
So Dem will not cancel or change election dates
We will likely lose election during this that we normally would of one
This whole thing is the answer to dem prays to evil.. they will milk it and extend the panic as much as they can
Interesting theory - in the general, I believe Trump voters will climb any mountain to vote; not sure about the same for Biden voters
