Former Republican congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul claimed that Coronavirus may be a “big hoax” and wondered why Democrats are so suddenly quick to give President Donald Trump new powers.
“It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach President Trump last month for abuse of power demanding that the Administration grab more power and authority in the name of fighting a virus that thus far has killed less than 100 Americans,” Paul wrote in a column for his site.

While I don’t think it is a hoax, I think wanna be dictators are taking away a lot of our rights now, in the name of NATIONAL EMERGENCY. We no longer have freedom of movement or assembly. Every country’s dictatorship started with the excuse of NATIONAL EMERGENCY.

i dont think the virus is a hoax. but i do agree that it can so easily be mis-used by power-hungry politicans! To a very great extent. We now have politicians issuing orders just like Stalin or other true communist/nazi/leftist dictators always do.
i think the politicians are far more dangerous to far more people than this super-flu virus

Is winning the presidency a sign that somebody is correct on the issues? You’re saying Obama was correct?

Has he ever been tested is a pointless question.
After exposure an average of 5-9 days til symptoms. People without symptoms are not eligible for the test. People are contagious before they have symptoms and people without symptoms can carry the disease.
The Chinese physician was tested 5 times with negative results. The 6th time he tested positive & died within a week. People that have been sick need 2 tests, 24h apart,in America before they can be released. People in the UK require 3 in similar circumstances.
That is because of false negatives. The test is an imperfect tool & not the gold standard. These facts are why pretending “not having a rapid test rollout is the major issue” is a self serving lie from the Left & their media lackeys.

While Ron Paul can be a little over the edge sometimes, I don’t think he’s too far from the truth on this. He also happens to be an MD. There is a virus called the Novel Coronavirus that leads to what is known as COVID-19, but there are a helluva lot of unanswered questions and things that make you go “Hmmm...”
Where and why did this “novel” coronavirus originate? All viruses, upon initial identification, could be referred to as “novel”.
Is it just a coincidence that it originated in a city near a Chinese “vaccine lab”? Remember, there are NO private labs in China and there is no air between the PLA and the PRC Politburo; China is still very much a communist country.
In 2009, there were about 12,500 deaths due to H1N1/Swine flu, with virtually no outcry from the media, almost no government intervention and minimal, if any, impact on the economy. (H1N1 is now the most common influenza in the country, comprising 35-36% of all flu cases annually.)
I suppose it’s pure coincidence that this outbreak occurred 8-9 months prior to an election? The outcry from the media/Democrats is, “Oh my God, we’re all gonna die!,” “Trump can’t find his ass with both hands” and the economy is crumbling.
Doesn’t it strike anyone as a just a little odd that the Chinese have provided a complete, annotated genome sequence of the novel coronavirus in record time and Moderna has already developed a test vaccine in unheard-of time...?
Makes one wonder; there are a lot of “novel” things going on right now...

I agree with Paul this time. Hoax has several meanings, one of which is something accepted by fraud or fabrication. Given the actual experience so far with this virus, I think it is very reasonable to at least question just how dangerous this virus is when compared to other pandemics.
