JonDoh: "Bannon is brilliant as usual. We need to meet this virus head on and hit it as hard as we can in order to beat it, and that means getting those damn idiots who are partying OFF the streets. The selfish, arrogant pukes are a real disgrace to humanity. To do anything less than a full clampdown to smother the virus is to prolong society’s torture and possibly even endanger our republic."

"I fear that the dems are now in Kamikaze mode. They’ve done the math and they realize that passing the stimulus plan will insure Trump’s re-election. So, apparently they have decided that holding everything up will devastate the economy and that it will be the only chance they have to beat Trump. They are clearly relying on their lackeys in the media to provide cover for them as they starve desperate citizens of relief. Yes, they are really that evil."

President Trump just tweeting about the stimulus package is not enough he needs to get on the podium and call Schumer and Pelosi out by name impractical yell at the press that they are putting abortions above the country. He needs to do this almost every hour until they come to the floor and vote on it. Otherwise they will win the argument about saying that they have to vote in person and they can’t do it.

Did he mention that the “economic inferno” is a self-immolation?

“To do anything less than a full clampdown to smother the virus is to prolong society’s torture and possibly even endanger our republic.” “

An argument for not doing this, is that if/when the virus comes back in the Fall, few will have immunity because they weren’t exposed this time around and the human toll as well as the economic toll will truly be devastating then. Economically, we can’t do a full shut-down again in 6 months if there’s another epidemic.

‘Economically, we can’t do a full shut-down again in 6 months if there’s another epidemic.’

Tom Wolf would reply ‘the solution is simple; don’t get rid of the shutdown we have going now, then we won’t have to revisit it in 6 months...voila...

Why can’t we “never let a crisis go to waste?”

We’ll se in 7 to 10 days. If we have been “good” enough that will be it. If not we will have to tap the brakes again and that is going to be really hard.

Some people are jonesing to see what happens, economically, when the insurance risk pool derivatives unwind all at once.

They won’t like that.

Well, they might. Not all posters are in the US and/or Trump supporters.

Within eight weeks most Americans will have gotten infected and except for airlines business be at reasonable levels.

Grocery store vector control is highly defective.

So are mail, garbage can and money vector control.
