Biden has 1,215 party delegates so far.
Bernie has 910.
It’s gonna be real hard for Dems of any persuasion to stand there at the Convention and pretend Bernie doesn’t exist, much less have a right to the nomination when Biden falters into oblivion. “Gee, Biden can’t run ... who, oh who, could possibly charge in and save our party? is there nobody with significant & consistent support? pity all the candidates have dropped out ...”

DNC Superdelegates are still hanging around. The only thing is that this time around they can’t vote in the first round in contested convention. But the odds of Biden being the nominee at the convention are probably very low right now.
They just have to follow the rules. If Biden doesn’t get 1991 delegates on the first round of voting, all the delegate will be freed to choose Cuomo, etc.

He’s far worse than Bloomberg. That bail reform law is such a fiasco that even de Blasio has said it needs to be modified to allow judges to hold suspects. Then we have the sanctuary policies, the explosion of Medicaid spending, the insane taxes, and the regulations that drove the business out of the state.
If I had to choose between Biden and Cuomo, I’d take Biden. Cuomo is that bad.

Not after the first ballot. The DNC might now have Bernie stay in so that Biden doesn't get the required number of delegates needed for a first ballot clinch. Then on the second ballot, Cuomo gets drafted. I have to wonder if this is now the game plan.
