Foreign nationals held in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody are self-deporting from the United States to avoid potential infection with the Chinese coronavirus.
While federal judges are helping release convicted illegal alien and legal immigrant criminals from ICE detention amid claims that they could potentially contract the coronavirus, some ICE detainees are self-deporting back to their native countries.
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus has asked for all 40,000 ICE detainees — including those with violent crime convictions — to be released from federal custody to avoid possible infection of the coronavirus.

IMO none should be released unless it's via bus to Mexico. And those with violent crime convictions? They stay in jail and if they die, too damn bad. Did the Hispanic caucus give a damn about their victims?? Hell no. Especially if the victims were Americans.

The Corona is a proximate cause of the outflow but not the direct cause.
Corona has killed the economy so that there is no reason to stay. I doubt the average illegal alien who came her to work (yes many come hear to work) is frightened of Corona.
The bad part is that we are loosing productive illegals while the deadbeat democrat constituency stays.
Same type of outflow happened after the housing crash in 2008.
