I loved NPR as a kid in the early 90s. Classical music, and I loved Marketplace + Earth & Sky. Even “All Things Considered” had some nice stories. The whole thing was easy on the ears for lack of a better way of putting it.

Then I discovered Limbaugh back in 1992...

Public radio just isnt necessary anymore. Certainly not to be funded with any tax dollars.

Like many things in government, once it gets a budget, it’s devilishly difficult trying to cut it out.

How about cutting it forever...it’s just a propaganda outlet for the demonrats...it would make Leni Riefenstahl proud...

NPR would be great if not for the incessant liberal bias. Liberals don’t know how good they have it. They get to tune in and have their worldview reinforced on the taxpayer dime with superb production values and zero commercials. Meanwhile we have to sit through Mahindra and My Pillow ads every four minutes. We still win, though, because our radio guys are great guys with great talent and, more importantly, they’re right.
