Nolte: Climate Denier Bill Gates Quietly Buys $43M Oceanfront Home in Midst of Pandemic
Breitbart.com ^ | 4/23/2020 | John Nolte

Microsoft founder Bill Gates has been exposed as the ultimate climate-denier with the purchase of a $43 million oceanfront home.

Riddle me this…

If you truly believe in Global Cooling, Global Warming, Climate Change, or whatever-these-proven-frauds-are-calling-it-now is a real and imminent crisis, that means you believe the oceans are destined to rise and flood the coasts and that this will happen in your lifetime… So why would anyone who professes to believe such a thing — as Gates regularly does — invest $43 million in oceanfront real estate?

They wouldn’t — unless they are a madman or a liar, and when it comes to Gates and the rest of the climate phonies, my money is always on the latter.

The facts are this…

If you judge Gates by his meaningless words, he is not a climate denier. But where it matters… In his actions, his behavior, his multi-million dollar investments, Gates is one of the biggest climate deniers in the history of climate denying.

Well, like the obxxx klan, with the kind of money they have available, they can afford YUGE sea walls. I mean it ain't like NYC or Miami are going to be under hundreds of feet of water. An inch or two in low areas if it ever happens. Which it probably won't.

There’s beach front and there’s beach front. Kinda need to see the lay of it. Is it on a hill? Breakwater? Man made beach?

It's right on the sandy beach, not up on some bluff, too.

He's clearly not to worried about the rising seas.

Hypocritical? It’s ok, he’s liberal, it’s what they do.

If I spent $43 million I wouldn’t want to be able to see my neighbor’s house, much less reach out and touch it. Those houses need some social distancing.

Bill Gates is 64.

The average sea level rise prediction is about 1 foot by 2050 so he will be 94.

There is absolutely no danger to that house in his lifetime.

$43 million is chump change for Gates. Proportional to net worth, it's about $450.00 for me. Even if Gates knew the ocean would wash that house away in a couple of years; it's no a big deal to him.

Beach front is expensive. Personally, I like some space around my house.

But, he has that. If you read the article, and follow some of the links, his main pad is $66 million and huge. Plus he has an equestrian ranch or two, to boot.

I was thinking, if you're that rich, at some point your major life risk is a flying accident in your private or chartered jet (a la Kobe), or an assault by some of the help or security, who you can't know very well or personally trust if you're so rich that you just flit about when the whim strikes you. I bet he spends no more than 2 weeks a year at this place.

He could have bought in Washaway Beach, WA.

Not necessarily a hypocrite. Gates is so rich he can afford to buy it just to use it for a few years (and not some sort of long term investment). /sarc

Not to mention it’s about three one-hundredths of one percent of his net worth. Even a bum who only had two bucks to his name would laugh off a loss of three one-hundredths of one percent.

Jeez, Bill Gates is slumming it these days.

Even though I wouldn’t pay more then 10 mil for that place, looks like on a triple lot, ocean front lot, I would expect nicer, better, and more private for a multi billionaire like Bill Gates.

Sorry I am not impressed.

But if he is happy, that is all that matters though
