Vice President Mike Pence wore a face mask Thursday while touring a ventilator manufacturing facility after taking heat for not doing so at the Mayo Clinic earlier this week.
Pence, touring a General Motors/Ventec plant in Indiana, was joined in wearing a mask by White House adviser Peter Navarro and Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao.
On Tuesday, Pence opted not to wear a mask on a visit to the Minnesota health center, creating significant controversy.

My question is why Pence didn't wonder if anything was amiss when absolutely everyone else in every picture from that visit was wearing a mask but him.
Masks are the new virtue signaling devices. Many people around here only will wear the most fashionable black ones.

Sorry, but these masks are nothing but political correctness. I was at the store ( no mask), and some of the people with masks act like their better than you...snooty! Kind of like some Prius owners.
I think the people taking these masks on and off, touching their faces, pose more of COVID threat than those of us not wearing masks.

If the Federal government is telling normal people to wear masks, the Federal government’s officials should be wearing them.

Yeah, that is odd. When the person shows up to deliver groceries, I figure she does it for a reason and I get the idea pretty quickly.
They tell people to wear masks when they go shopping at the supermarket, so it shouldn’t be a shock that in the middle of a pandemic to see everyone wearing them at the world’s premier medical institute/hospital.

No. The lie was that he opted not to wear a mask.
None was offered. None was necessary or he would have worn one.
The second lie was that this created “significant controversy”.
This is a non-event. Nothing but the enemdedia trying to throw crap against a wall and see if it sticks.
It’s a shame they make Pence live by his task force’s rules.
