When this video was played on Fox last night, it wasn’t the entire video. The host (Tucker maybe?) added that throughout the encounter, the Gestapo make a point to use the word, “trailer”, when speaking of her home, making her seem “less than”. And their snotty attitudes! So this is American law enforcement now?
They demanded her name in order to have a permanent record that she was uncooperative with the state??
I applaud her for refusing to give it.
The cops had zero probable cause.
IMO she should sue for violating her civil rights.
This is like when cops beat the crap out of you, and then book you on one charge: resisting arrest (iow, resisting the beating.)
This needs to go viral.
Those are county cops and that is a rural area in Wisconsin. I grew up in that environment and I can assure you that kids playing in a neighbors back yard is not “between the line”.
If you give little people power they act just like that.
From Fascist Governors to lock stepping cops that don’t read the Constitution to neighbors ratting out their neighbor we are rapidly turning into China.
The next question has to be, How many of these lost freedoms are we going to get Back?
How much Freedom are you willing to give up for safety?
Every Freedom given up in the world was for the good of the people. And never returned.

People should worry about their Constitutional Rights rather than their health.
The whole stay at home order violates the US Constitution. There is no between the line. Either you are free or you are not. Our founding fathers did not write in the Constitution, "except when there is a virus." These cops are poorly educated, anti-American, liberal pieces of schiff on a power trip.
That’s not entirely true...do a little research and you will find several examples where police depts and Sheriffs across several states that have said they are not enforcing the orders of the states or local govt officials.
Looks like a couple of Barney Fifes are gonna get doxxed.

“Most” of the time when cops do this kind of thing, they are just following orders...keeping their employment record in good order. And I think it is likely when the SHTF (or has it already?) that most cops will continue to follow orders - they have mortgages, bills, kids to put through college, car loans, pensions, etc. too. He who pays gets to call their shots.
But this pair really seems to get into it...they aren’t just following orders and keeping their jobs secure, they are lovin’ it. If there were still new oceans to cross and new lands to settle...a lot of people would be heading out about now, totalitarian attitudes have become in vogue.
Exactly. And did you see in the video where they asked for the child’s mother’s name? That’s equivalent to, “Show me your papers.” Where have we heard that before?
In what city or town did this take place?
And *how* did they know the child had visited a friend?
Brownshirts can’t be brownshirts without the cooperation of neighbors ratting out neighbors.
Not taking a stand either way on this, just pointing out that the Nazi’s didn’t have the support of the majority — but didn’t need it due to snitches and consequences.
You know I am getting very tired of that “allowed” Where does the government “allow” it’s citizens to be free.

I was hoping there would be some kind of follow up available by now. Was the police chief questioned about his patrol cops? Who squealed about the child, some nosy neighbor encouraged by the governor to snitch?
Was the mother given a citation?
Certainly I am generalizing. We do that to make arguments, and in this case the generalization is highly true. There are few Mayberrys left in America.

The sheriff’s department there is apparently defending the action “on social media”.
