The real problem is there are zero cops speaking out about these things. They are just following orders. They just protect their brother cops backs. It’s a nice, nifty deep state fraternal order, filled with poorly educated people that have no idea what is constitutional.
When this video was played on Fox last night, it wasn’t the entire video. The host (Tucker maybe?) added that throughout the encounter, the Gestapo make a point to use the word, “trailer”, when speaking of her home, making her seem “less than”. And their snotty attitudes! So this is American law enforcement now?
They demanded her name in order to have a permanent record that she was uncooperative with the state??
I applaud her for refusing to give it.
The cops had zero probable cause.
IMO she should sue for violating her civil rights.
This is like when cops beat the crap out of you, and then book you on one charge: resisting arrest (iow, resisting the beating.)

Not taking a stand either way on this, just pointing out that the Nazi’s didn’t have the support of the majority — but didn’t need it due to snitches and consequences.
I was hoping there would be some kind of follow up available by now. Was the police chief questioned about his patrol cops? Who squealed about the child, some nosy neighbor encouraged by the governor to snitch?
Was the mother given a citation?
I have little tolerance for fascism. If this can happen in one part of the USA, it can happen in another.

Did you ever wonder how allegedly sane people participated in the organized murder of 6-million Jews in WWII? Well, when you read stories like this one you now know. How can policemen do these things when they know it is against the Constitution? Their defense will be that they were just following orders. That is exactly what the murders said. How sad.
