Former Gov. John Hickenlooper leads U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner by 18 percentage points in Colorado's U.S. Senate race, according to a poll from Colorado firms released Wednesday.

The Keating-Onsight-Melanson poll of likely voters, made available in advance of its release to Colorado Politics, shows Hickenlooper with 54% support to Gardner's 36% in a hypothetical head-to-head contest, with 9% undecided and 1% picking another candidate.

What is the purpose of publishing a poll 5 1/2 months prior to an election? Hmmmm.

If it’s a Hickenlooper you know something’s up.

Gardner is a traitorous, wretched swamp monster. Piss on him.

Did Gardner support Trump in the Nov 2016 general election?

All landslide polls favor Democrats. If Colorado is that stupid to elect that gun grabbing monster, it’s on them. Gardner is no great shakes, but we need to fight for every seat.

Colorado is a very strange place these days. Nothing like I remember fro the late 50’s.

I remember watching Trump on TV at a Colorado rally right before Election Day in2016. I didn’t see Gardner there. Was he there?

It seems like it’s all about pot in CO. Used to be a conservative state until California unloaded many. And now it seems the reefer contingent dominates, although I am not from CO.

Did Gardner support Trump?

...Gardner, a "Never Trump" Republican who opposed Trump in 2016,

Gardiner was wishy washy in the impeachment. He’s never any more conservative than he has to be. Because you know...progressives won’t give you a chance if you are too conservative.

He has been weak tea...

I am not familiar with Colorado politics, but in light of Republican victories in California and Wisconsin yesterday, I think such a lead for Hickenlooper is improbable. Like many polls, this is likely disinformation with the purpose of discouraging Republican voters.

I vaguely remember this Hickenlooper running for president a ways back. He got quickly outshadowed by some dude named Buttagieg. There were some women and blacks in there too but I don't remember their names. Bernie Sanders was also in the mix for a while. Now we're stuck with Slow Joe Biden.

Man, this was the weirdest Democrat presidential field of candidates ever. I wish Hunter Thompson was still around to write about it.

Hillary won according to polls also. Demonicrats load their polls with extra democrats and make it into a propaganda tool. Lots of people are mad at Gov. Palus for his one sided attack on Colorado. The state passed a pro crude oil bill and the first bill Pallus signed was to undo the will of the people.
