A mother says she stayed at home due to the official COVID advice not to attend unless seven days of fever have passed. The child is eventually brought to hospital four or five days after the onset of fever, headaches and vomiting. The delay means the child is now severely ill with meningococcal disease.
On the same official COVID advice, a sick child is kept at home. The child is suffering from Kawasaki’s disease, an inflammation condition which can affect the heart. Urgently needed treatment is delayed.
These are just some of details from a dozen severe cases logged since the virus lock-down in just one paediatric regional network in England. The children described are between six months and 13 years of age...

The incidence of Kawasaki disease is 2.8 per 100,000. There are 8.4 million people in New York City... So they should have roughly 235 cases per year... How many cases have they had this year?
The Democrats are desperate to invent a way to claim that kids are dying from the virus.
Okay, say by now a third of children in NYC have had exposure to the virus to come up positive or with antibodies.
How many in total in a month would be seen by a doctor in the City for abdominal pain? Irritability? Etc.?
Yeah, it is possibly a real thing. But then also if there is a possible link to Covid, is there also a jump in Medicaid reimbursement (as we know there is in Medicare)?
Yeah, it could well be part of real symptoms from the virus. It also could just be some bellyaching and irritability from children who come up positive for the virus—whether they are otherwise symptomatic or not.

I think one can catch the virus very easily is they have another health issue....I suspect these children were already sick when their weakened immune systems allowed the virus to attack them....so covid wasn’t the cause, it was the result...
What do they have in common? The article states it quite clearly:

So, you have these 102 kids with an extremely rare disease (PRE-EXISTING CONDITION!) whose conditions have worsened somewhat due to Corona.
