Rep. Lee Zeldin hearkened back to 2016 to remind the nation that the Obama administration was “furious” with retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn for calling on world leaders to block an “anti-Israel” effort.
The New York Republican tweeted Thursday morning about Flynn, who served as Trump’s national security adviser in early 2017, and his efforts to block the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which focused on Israeli settlements in “Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.”
“Keep in mind Obama admin was furious Gen Michael Flynn was making calls to world leaders helping to block UN Sec Council Res 2334 in Dec 16, which was an anti-Israel effort that should've been vetoed by the US, not fast tracked. Gen Flynn was doing exactly what needed to be done,” Zeldin tweeted.

Wow. Flynn was hitting on all cylinders by December 2016 in terms of subtly calling out Obama and his acolytes for their reflexive anti-Israel bias and their inexplicable but inarguably ingrained tendency to promote the interests of political Islam, particularly and seemingly most enthusiastically when doing so would negatively impact countervailing U.S. interests, or compromise our standing with marginal or even longstanding allies.

So that was part of what it was really all about, because Flynn was letting nations know what the Trump admin was going to think about that UI.N. vote, they used Flynn’s phone call with the Russian official - which violated no laws - as an excuse to have the FBI talk to him (set a trap with him).
Like so many Dim governors and their reactions to their citizens disobeying lock down rules, Obama showed the behavior of a petulant and spiteful child in going after Flynn.
The Obama regime was coming after General Michael Flynn for a couple years before he signed onto Team Trump, with their obvious policy differences after dismissal by Obama in 2014. His military career ended when Obama dismissed him as defense intelligence chief. Flynn claimed he was pushed out for holding tougher views than the Obama administration about Islamic extremism.
Once on Team Trump, the very certain revelations would have surfaced quickly within the camp, and that would have meant a great disturbance in the Force for the Won, which led to the warning that Obama made to Trump about hiring Flynn.
Just like that Maine DEM Governor PUNISHING the guy who opened his restaurant.
