Amash has an 88 percent “liberty score” from Conservative Review, an 89 percent from Freedom Works, and a 96 from Liberty for All. He has more name ID than the other Libertarians put together. Unfortunately for him, he ran into fervent opposition from the Libertarian purists.

I think he may be eyeing 2024, when President Trump isn’t on the ballot and perhaps the partisan camps won’t be quite so locked in.
