There is strong evidence that President Barack Obama’s administration improperly weaponized U.S. intelligence agencies in multiple and shocking ways against Donald Trump and other political enemies.
It appears the Obama administration did this in a number of ways, including: fraudulently obtaining Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants to spy on American citizens; promoting the Democratic National Committee-funded dossier assembled by former British spy Christopher Steele that was filled with lies about Trump; politicizing intelligence analysis; leaking intelligence; and spying on political opponents and journalists.
In the period when he was a presidential candidate and president-elect, Trump and his aides seemed to have been the major targets of this misuse of American intelligence for political purposes. But they were not the only targets.

Democrats hold congressional hearing based on whispers and a rumors. Republicans won't act when they're handed evidence of a crime.
I find it telling that the republican senate had numerous hearings and interviewed all the key players when they were trying to prove Trump was working with the russians. But now that the illegal use of fisa and the intelligence agencies is being uncovered, not a single hearing. mcconnelle is, and has been all along, directly supporting the resistance.
As soon as Trump won the presidency, it was a complete no-brainer that these people would orchestrate exactly this kind of event.
The thought that they would try to take out Trump, in any way they could, just seemed very realistic.
All the classic variables were in place: motive, means and absence of ethical restraint.
The fourth classic variable was also in place. And classically, the bad guys just didn’t think of the thing that takes down all psychopaths. A charitable term for it would be overconfidence.

How is the process going to be changed “so that it can never happen again to a sitting president” if:
1. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) is not significantly reformed.
2. All of the bad actors of the coup attempt are not held accountable for their actions.
The media in this country can absolutely go F itself in the worst way. Something that makes Watergate look like a parking ticket and these pukes completely ignore it. Can you imagine if the parties were reversed? Trump weaponizes intel agencies, spies on Biden, buys fake dossier from the Russians to scam a FISA judge. This crap would be headline news every single day, top of the hour news for ABC, CBS, NBC news. I remember Watergate quite well, I was in my teens when that was going on and the media was absolutely relentless. Even after Nixon reigned everyday, “Watergate Watergate Watergate” all the to the 1980s they were STILL reporting on it like it was still going on, and here complete blackout with the exception of Fox.

Was the December 29, 2016 Russia Sanction a ‘set up’ to see how the Trump Team would react and what the FBI/CIA could learn from their wire tapped phones?
It certainly appears that the December 29, 2016 Russia Sanction gambit was nothing but a major Obama planned ‘insurance policy’ to make life difficult for newly elected Donald J Trump.
