Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday that the state will continue to include only confirmed coronavirus fatalities and not “probable” ones in its contagion death toll — unlike New York City — because “they’re two different things.”
Cuomo — commenting on the topic of confirmed versus probable COVID-19 deaths at a press briefing in Murray Hill in Manhattan — said, “Now some places just put them together, they then get criticized — you can’t put them together. They’re two different categories.
“They’re two different answers, and they’re two different questions,” Cuomo told reporters, adding, “Probable is different from confirmed. Probable is ‘probable, but I have to check, I don’t know, I have to do further testing.’”

After counting tens of thousands of probable Covid deaths. He won’t be adjusting numbers down on the death count. Even WaPo shows what NY was doing on their Covid tracking site.
Along the way, criteria for reporting deaths has changed in some states and cities. New York City in mid-April added more than 3,700 deaths of people who were presumed to have covid-19 but were never tested.

What difference does it really make?
Trump provided him with a hospital ship and a 2000+ bed emergency hospital in the Javits Center, which he could have used to house these infectious cases.
But doing that would have forced him to admit that Trump helped him out, which he’d much rather sentence New Yorkers to die than have to do.
When it served their purpose to pump the numbers up to justify their tyranny, they pumped them up. When it serves their purpose to shave the numbers so they can claim “We saved you!”, they shave the numbers.
BINGO!!! A WINNER!!! However he is right about this but for all the wrong reasons.
