When I was 10 our cousins gave us two old “Whizzer” motors. They convert a bicycle into a motorbike. My older brothers were able to get one working using the used motors.

We couldn’t get it to start without pushing it, then jumping on just as it started. It really pulled. It would pull me and my best friend up Munn Hill with ease.

When you're 10 a Whizzer is pretty darn cool.

When I was 13 we went to Daytona Beach and my parents rented a 50cc Honda scooter for 1/2 hour to ride on the beach. Really not much more than a Whizzer. But I was hooked from that day on.

I've moved up a little since then.......

Disclaimer: 95% of my riding miles are on country roads. I don't drink when I ride, I train regularly, I don't ride at night (deer!!). And I don't use my bike to show how large my testicles are. I am seriously AGATT. If I lived in an urban area I'd be a cager.
